Liars! Everyone here lies! I did all the "right" things that people out here say to do: Go vega, all the weight will fall off, you'll have no cravings, and you will easily lose the weight, keep it off, never crave anything. LIES. Then I went carnivore, because I damaged my thyroid and could not heal injuries due to the absolute stupidity of veganism, so I went carnivore and for 15 months I did it all, learned and grew and experimented and did it all, IF, OMAD, 2MAD, alternate day fasting, metabolic resets, high fat, zero carb, sped up my metabolism, followed all the circadian clock scheduling for early a.m. cortisol and afternoon increasing melatonin, lots of walking, lifting weights, sped up my metabolism and zip, zero, nada, zilch! I actually gained 20 pounds due to my thyroid downregulating more and now my cortisold does not shut off at night. So, now I've spend over $1,000 on a naturopathic doctor trying to shut my cortisol off at n ight so I can sleep, get inflammation out of my body -- oh, and I'm allergic to castor oil -- thank you all you horrible people speaking about castor oil packing, because I suffered for a long time ridding myself of that issue after doing it for months (because all the literatur and people say NO ONE gets a problem with castor oil -- LIES Now I am nearly back to the weight I was -9 years ago and I feel like I am never ever going to get anywhere. I am fat, ugly, and disgusted with myself. I have started adding in berries and asparagus and zucchini and mushrooms because after 15 months of this stupidity I still cannot balance my electrolytes, and that is 100% attributable to carnivore, for I never had a problem before this. I am fat, I am ugly, I hate myself, and I hate all of you liars out here who swear this will work, and you bring all these stupid lying doctors on with you who swear this stuff works. IT DOES NOT! If you are fat and ugly, like me, you will always be fat and ugly no matter what you do. You can do if perfectly, eat perfectly sleep perfectly lift weights, walk 8 to 10k steps daily and you will still be FAT, UGLY AND HATING LIFE> THIS IS ALL A LIE THAT YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL BODY COMPOSIION LIKE SHE JUST SAID AT ABOUT 12 minutes. SHE IS LYING

I think the Gov't is watching... LOL. All their intent seems to be making it more difficult for carnivores. They seem to be trying to get rid of beef, eggs, and butter. 58 yo here. Keto did not work for me as a simple man. Too many details and options to backslide on Keto. Carnivore for last 4 months and down 40 lbs. LOVE IT. Thanks to all the carnivores out there. Stay strong!

I enjoy dry fasting for a couple days at a time. you don't get the hunger of water fasting. never tried an egg or a fat fast Will probably try that. Sardines make me gag

DauMB QUESTION: Thoughts on this....I grew up on high carbs and very little meat. It seems if I eat low carb/mostly meat then I have ZERO appetite. Things that I can eat and am hungry for is beans & cornbread, pasta, etc. is this common??? Any advice??

The best way to get tested is via a 24urine sample, for example at the LIMPS Lab in Brussels (for our European friends, for the rest of the I don't know where to get tested).

I’ve been carnivore for 190 days, I have lost 39.6 pounds eating mostly just beef, butter, and eggs. I do not consume any other dairy at this time and I occasionally eat bacon. I feel great, the only main problem that I had (which I don’t anymore) was a horrible issues with my weight affecting my knee and feet pain. I am now without daily swelling or pain in my knees. My problem is I know I don’t eat enough. I don’t eat breakfast, I usually eat a bigger lunch and sometimes I eat dinner if I am hungry. When I track my food I know so am eating a lot more food to keep up to the numbers. When I am not tracking I do not eat enough. I am at a weight loss stall and I don’t like it.

I followed Maria and Criag Emmerich for 5 years... 😢 Sadly this was a Big mistake. . Her calculator said I should eat 1246 cals a day and 736 on pmsf days... they often say ONLY prioritize protein and not fat at all. If i didn't have enough fat for the day it wasn't a big deal - only protein matters... Maria shared that she eats a small tenderloin for breakfast, a very small amount of white fish for lunch (maybe a little lettuce for some crunch occasionally), and has a flavored egg white shake for dinner... this was her typical day, she said.... Maria also says she doesn't eat her own recipes... all her keto breads and desserts ect... I think they both eay way too low in fat and cals.... Craig has admitted that he can't go poop unless he drinks LMNT. I could go on about my terrible experiences after 5 long years, but I think you already know how terrible this really is for your body.... My intentions were not to be mean here.... but I would caustion everyone who sees this to be careful following their advice.

Thanks for offering your opinion/advice. I have had success following both of the gurus you mentioned so I’ll continue until it stops working. But at least you left a thoughtful comment without disparaging them personally. We have to find the best path for ourselves. We’re all different and that’s a good thing.

I lost 100 pounds being an intuitive carnivore for 18 months. But now I'm in a stall for 7 months. I have totally resisted tracking but NOW I have a serious reason to see if teacking will change my stall. My daily intake is varied and I find these trackers very difficult to use but I journal my food, home labs, vital signs every single day. Great suggestions. I need the TDEE that is for carnivores but I am assuming I have to purchase time in the group to get access to it. ❤

Wow! Just had the Lifeline Screening done. I'm 67 and have been on Keto carnivore 18 months and have off the chart LDL levels! Hope the gal doing my carotid artery test knew what she was doing!

I just discovered you recently via Ken Berry. I’m enjoying watching you. You are beautiful, delightful, and have been motivating, encouraging, and informative. I will continue to watch some of your videos, but not any such as this one with these concepts. This is so extreme and obsessive. 30,000 steps per day, or 8 hrs on a treadmill? This sounds like a recipe for an eating disorder. And too micro-managed.

I eat 1 1/4 pound of 73% Ground Beef for Lunch, and 1 1/4 pound of 73% Ground Beef for Dinner. That's around 2000 calories, 170g of protein. 150g of Fat I also walking between 15,000 to 20,000+ steps at a 10% incline everyday. I've been losing around 1/2 a pound a day, and I'm never hungry. I usually say, find out what your BMR is, and add 300 calories to it, and make that your diet calories. I think this will work for most people. I actually eat a few hundred more than that, but I'm also burning a lot of calories. Don't starve your body, this isn't CICO, where your body is forced to pull fat from storage to make up for the lack of calories, and eventually, your body will adapt, and you'll stop losing weight. When you remove carbs from your diet, your every movement is burning fat for fuel. This actually allows you to eat more food, so you don't need to eat in a deficit to actually lose fat, because you'll naturally be burning fat all day, and at the same time, your body will get healthier, because it's not dealing with carbs, and what those foods do to your body.
