All you need to know is the 2 splits and you can use them for the rest of your life to make massive gains: 1) Upper, Lower split 2) Whole body split On Upper/Lower split you'd train on Monday and Tuesday (Monday upper body, Tuesday lower body). Take a rest on Wednesday and repeat for Thursday n' Friday. For the whole body split it's even simpler. Workout on your whole body on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Boom. And lastly, always keep pushing yourself by progressive overload. Either add more weight as you go, or make your exercises harder.

1. When it stops working, and you're already pushing fairly hard, don't push even harder! It doesn't help and it'll take a toll on your body and risk injury. Change what you're doing, your body is bored of it. Changing things up is also important to keep it fun and engaging. 2. Plan every week's workouts out on paper. A vague idea in your head isn't good enough. You'll make better routine if done in advance because you can put some thought into it and think about the principles such as progressive overload. You'll also be more committed and driven if you know exactly what you're aiming for. 3. Be present with every set, every rep and you'll get more out of it. If you're just going through the motions, you won't get the maximum benefit. Be fully present and execute each rep with your best effort and perfect form.

In my generation every beginner start working out only when they've already had their supplements stored at home and i don't know why..I've been training for 2 years now and i'm proud that i haven't taken any supplements yet. It's lot tougher to get your nutrition done for sure but as you said it's well worth it. I really liked this topic and keep up with the good work because these vidos are worth to make. Thanks a lot Daniel! You're a big exemplar for many of newbie out there

Porn isn't the real problem though. Similar to tobacco and alcohol abuse, it's actually your genetic predispositions for addiction that's largely to blame for jerking off too much porn. There is no evidence that abstaining from sexual experiences cause diseases so it's probably ok but understand that sexual release is important in maintaining our male part's functionality. There is evidence that frequent sexual release regardless of age can reduce the risk of prostate cancer >30% reduction and ED especially during the ages when the prostate is developing and maturing. I do think the claims made by nofap proponents are BS though since they aren’t rooted in much scientific evidence. I personally fap with my imagination and I can say that I have a healthy relationship with my body. Eat well, sleep well, study well, exercise well, communicate well and fap well - my opinion.
@r.vincenta.96784 жыл бұрын
@COOPER JOHNSON I edited my comment to better reflect what I was trying to say. Also when I use the word 'sexual release', I'm referring to both ejaculation and orgasm which are two diff beasts that normally coincide when they occur during sex or masturbation. And yes you can have both or either when experiencing nocturnal emissions. Lastly, I don't understand why I'm being hit w the "just another excuse" narrative. I'm trying to lay out what I know about the subject and I respect anyone who practices it spiritually bec it is a personal way of living that I have no business with. If scientific evidence suggests that frequent masturbation (3-7 times a week in an interval) is not good for you and 1 a week, 1 a month, or whatever is ideal, then I'll likely change my opinion. As it stands, you can enjoy having them as long as your activities are not interfering with other important things in your life.

@Justus the righteous You do not become predisposed to [insert specific thing] addiction but of behaviors that can lead to addiction of said specific thing. My profession is unrelated to the medical field but I do read a wide range of books and academic papers and attend talks/conventions in my spare time and that's the gist of what's going on with all kinds of addiction including sex-related ones.

Ya I mean it's not necessary that you may have experienced the exact same thing. However, it is pretty common in bodyweight training for new trainees to develop muscular imbalances where their dominant side gets stronger than their nondominant side. This is true for a lot of people generally in life as well. Dan has discussed this multiple times in his past videos as well. But ya, there is still a number of people who are lucky enough to not experience imbalances despite starting with bodyweight training and not caring about isolation work. Though I recommend every trainee include isolation work at the end of their routines, will help everyone 100%. Dan too has suggested this multiple times in the past. Anyone with serious bodyweight experience will agree.
@TheReptilehumon7 жыл бұрын
You can still do single limb compound movements dude; single leg squats, one arm pushups, one arm pullups etc. It's not essential to use isolation movements to develop both sides equally.
@TheReptilehumon7 жыл бұрын
Also I rarely ever do single limb movements and have no 'noticeable' muscle size imbalances; extremely rare in my experience. I have some strength imbalances but that is due to preferred limb vs non-preferred, it's an issue of coordination (like being able to write better with my left hand or ride a skateboard better with my left foot forward etc.). It's much more important to worry about imbalances regarding pushing vs pulling for example. You will create issues if you favour certain movements over others, you should always try to train opposing muscle groups equally to their counterparts. I would recommend prehab movements rather than isolation movements as a much wiser use of time in the gym.
@muhammadshariq84747 жыл бұрын
Here is the problem. Single arm pushups/pullups/squats are advanced exercises. How many people can do one arm pullups and pushups to address isolation work? Hardly any. Pistol squats are still ok but most people will not have the strength to perform most unilateral compound movements because they require a lot of strength, and remember I'm referring to NEW TRAINEES HERE. A new guy has a hard time performing a normal pullup, let alone OAPs. While unilateral compound movements is a good way to address the issue as well, it really is for advanced trainees. For the new guy, it's imperative he makes use of isolation work at the end of his workout. Apart from that, this doesn't happen to everyone as I mentioned already. You are one of those who it didn't happen but believe me, it happens to a ton of people.

Hi everyone, I'm naturally lean build, so for us, skinny guys the glory is to be a bigger isn't ?:) I would tell to myself forget about what others do (anabolic steroids at he age of 16-18!!! its a mental... ). It's a pity... I was hacked on those also for some time, because I wanted to look bigger like others in the school, to have attention of girls, respect just because how I look.... but nothing changed, I still was the same fellas as before even if I got a bigger.. I was disappointed of myself.. Later on I was involved in to armwrestling. I was training hard, trying to nail the technique even when i thought I'm still weak .. But, all that hard work paid off. By being skinny I was able to put down any bulky monster, steroid junkies on the armwrestling table! You should see their eyes LOL. I felt like a super human in front of them.. oh my dear their eyes :D. So in my late 17s I realised that and I would tel to myself: It's not about being stronger/look better than other ones on the street, The Real Strength Is To Be Yourself The Way You Are, and only hard work will allow you to overcome any challenges you face on your way. Thank you Daniel, keep hard work! Peace!

Make it part of an activity, I play during breakfast and/or while eating lunch/dinner before training. It's perfectly in between activities where I wouldn't do anything else more valuable anyway. Alternatively use it as a reward for other things like "If I finish X by Y a clock then I can play" or go to bed earlier, skipping all the useless shit, and play only in the morning in the hours you gained by being able to wake up earlier. All of these have worked for me, don't have a problem at all now but used to play mmorpgs/mobas for thousands of hours in my teens.

I've cut off all sweets and sodas, I only drink water since then. At the beginning I was barely doing 2 pushups... that's how bad I was, now I do at least 20 and counting. In the last 2 months I've bought a pair of dumbells and a pullup bar and I plan on buying more equipment. Now I can say I'm addicted to sport. 😀

As far as nutrition goes, Jeff Cavaliere strongly believes that you can build muscle and lose fat at the same time if you are in a positive nitrogen balance (enough protein, good sleep, good training) and in a caloric deficit. What do you think?
@krizzmukhtar59097 жыл бұрын
i think what daniel is saying is that teens should bulk up, it makes sense. Because we're still growing up, we need the calorie surplus for growth (not muscle growth), jeff is probably referring to full adults.
@vasilisbalafas71097 жыл бұрын
Sein Mukhtar seems legit
@LeXx0r7 жыл бұрын
I've had it measured and I gained muscle while in a deficit.BUT:1. The muscle gains were less than half the rate that I usually gained muscle right fater the cut (CUT: 3.5 months / + 0.7KG muscle | Bulk: 5.5 months / + 2.7KG) 2. You really need to eat a lot of protein 3. If you've been training consistently for many years, It's gonna be harder as your body is closer to your natural limit
@vasilisbalafas71097 жыл бұрын
LeXx0r Good points! I'm aware of those things, what I am saying is that it's definitely possible to build muscle and lose fat at the same time but of course requires consistency and you dont build as much muscle as if you were only bulking.
@hturt47 жыл бұрын
Βασίλης Μπαλάφας Jeff is talking too adults. Daniel is talking to teens in this video. That's a crucial distinction. Teens' bodies and brains are not yet fully developed. Daniel's advice here is sound for teens.
