Great video! One thing I would add is "learning and doing hard things". Always remember that the engineers building OpenAI and Gemini aren't bothered about losing their jobs to AI. Same for fields like Cryptography(ZK, FHE, ...), Blockchain Core Engineering, Quantitative Trading, Solvers and a lot of others. Optimize to learn hard things. It has less competition because most people aren't. And, there will always be things AI can't replace, go for those things. The benefits of doing and learning hard things are numerous and your job safety is probably the least. It's hard, obviously, but it pays in the long term.

If you think you can do anything to standout in a large corporation you are deluded or inexperienced in industry. You are just a data point in an MBA's spread sheet. They'll lay you off if the shareholders get a tummy ache and make the folks who are still there deal with the fallout. Anyone who says otherwise or thinks they did something to survive a layoff just had a bad case of survivorship bias.

we are going to have robots soon and I dont believe the maintenance and programming will be all automated or A.I based, as long technology exist we'll always have a need for human programmers

No one says all the jobs will be gone. Just that a large number of them will be gone. There will be fewer jobs. Capital wouldn't invest in automation and AI if it wasn't going to save them money on labor.

@@JD-vj4go you're right no one said all the jobs will be gone, I sure as hell didn't say that. The invention of cars didn't cause massive unemployment, it may have caused massive lay offs for cart drivers but it created many more jobs this is to say programming might be getting reinvented and whatever the next step is it will require people with knowledge of how these languages work, I'm just highlighting that it will be a long time before we trust AI as a replacement like most people believe
