I can definitely agree that replicating your life in the new environment is not going to produce desired results that does makes sense this whole concept of not working though I’m still listening for the alternative and I haven’t heard it is not working is the goal then what is the way to best take care of yourself and to survive and also to exercise your brain if you’re not going to work then what are you going to do you can’t do these wonderful things like travel and eat exquisite food if you don’t have the money
@ExodusCollective
@ExodusCollective 2 жыл бұрын
@@milanacampbell2352 great question Milana! With regards to not "working", I can't fully speak for Stephanie but I think what we were talking about was ditching the 9-5 where you're doing a job that you don't enjoy, simply for the money. It's a shift from working to live and living to work. Often that can look like working for yourself instead of being employed by others but it could also be working remotely so your job facilitates your ability to travel. With three kids to feed I, for sure, need money coming in on a regular basis but I also choose to prioritize our wellbeing over the mindless pursuit of money/career. Maybe @Stephanieperry might put it differently

Lol I love Stephanie. But I would recommend learning the culture of wherever you’re trying to date. Learn if there’s a history of colorism. Learn the gender roles and expectations. Having a traditional man is cute until you can’t leave the house without him.

@@ExodusCollective yes we have lived in diff countries and island nations but Bahia is great for now. I'm a mom fresh out of a relationship from VI so not out dating much but it looks kinda tuff where I am. Brazilians seem to prefer their own. Luckily I lived here a year in the past so I have very conversational Portuguese skills, but without that, expect very quick and meaningless flings at best..Maybe the major cities are better but I doubt it (remembering my last long term stay here). I live in the coastal jungle near a touristy, surfer town...

No offense to people who want to build with someone. Been there done that, in my twenties. It's nice to have your own, but all of us aren't in the 6 figures. Somewhere we were given the notion that only women of other nationalities get the big fish. And usually melonated men with some dough, don't check for us, and that's ok. I'm open to international love, I could've married for wealth 3 times, sadly I didn't like them, I guess i don't have gold digging skills. But I could learn 😌 🤣❤

But you guys haven’t addressed the desire a lot of people have to leave a legacy for their kids or to have a nest egg for themselves and that does involve work it doesn’t have to involve struggling in work but it does involve putting out an effort to draw an income so in essence you do need to do some thing that brings you Curren$y and if it’s not work then what is it that’s the only thing that boggles me about her concept of ease

Check out Stephanie's channel - she goes into lots of detail on how she earns her money. I also did a few videos like this one on how to afford to move to the Caribbean like this one kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2eoc6aoqLR-h68 But honestly wealth management isn't my area of expertise or interest. You're best to check out Roshida Dowe (Stephanie's business partner) for content on finances related to living abroad. She retired to Mexico at the age of 39 with $600k in the bank so her insights might be the type of content you're looking for. Hope that helps 😊

Great conversation ladies. Thing is men are very shallow, visual and a 47 year old woman is not very high on their list no matter how lovely she is. If you're willing to be a "sugar mama" and finance their lives or if they want a green card, then they'll flock you but otherwise the pickins will be slim. Yes, they'll "holler" at you but as to something serious, I don't know......

What a negative, self-limiting mindset. True, men are shallow. But in the end-it's all about how you upkeep yourself. If you look like Gabrielle Union or Stacey Dash-ie via taking care of yourself via a clean, vegan, nutrient-dense diet....then you'll never have to worry about a shortage of men.

@MiCajaDelIdiota
@MiCajaDelIdiota 2 жыл бұрын
@@ExodusCollective You “try not to judge others?” When you go about looking for tall men with yachts, you are making a judgement (judging men by a physical characteristic & money), subtextually indicating that you’re shallow. Of course, the search for a beautiful mind also implies a judgement, but one based on deep motivations anchored in humane aspirations and the attractiveness of beautiful souls, not yachts. PS How about if one looks for & finds a beautiful mind. & then, TOGETHER, work on acquiring a yacht, if yachts are so important? PS2: Height, weight, eye color, melanin… all those are the result of the genetic lottery. They say nothing about what your effort in life, diligence, acumen, resourcefulness, &, shall I dare to add intelligence, makes you a worthy companion/human being. PS3: My question to the lady would be: Let’s sit down & review what each brings to the table. If I bring my culturally (shallow) designated desirable height & a yacht, what do you bring?
