Yes... I visited my hometown a couple of weeks ago. Stopped at the Masjid I took my Shahadah at 46 years ago..... I got so filled with emotion while praying and crying in Sujud thanking Allaah for choosing me and begging for istaqaamah (firmness on His Deen) until death. Alhamdulilaah. Subhana Allaah. Allaah u Akbar 🎉

The feeling that you are describing never leaves you anyway. I would describe it as an exaltation It's always there. Especially during your prayers and when you are reading the Quran. You're also feeling it throughout your daily life when you know that you're trying to behave as advised by Allah. You have a feeling of sense of purpose in your life. Last but not least, you feel a heavy load lifted off your shoulders. Alhamdulillah.

I was born in a Muslim family and I am a practicing Muslim all my life. From early child, I was well taught by my parents and teachers how to perform salah, fasting, recite the quran, how to behave and so on. However, I "rediscover" Islam after learning more about Hadeeth and different opinions among Muslim scholars. Now I know, there are many ways to read dua al-istiftah, different sujood recitations, dua after tashahhud etc. The learning never stops.

Why do you refuse to hold yourself accountable for your own actions? Why do you allow yourself to be governed by lies? God is a concept that was invented and utilized by evil and opportunistic people who seek dominion over the masses. You do not know what God is because you do not have the capacity or ability to verify or determine whether it exists or not. My advice to the new Muslims. you may be shocked by some Muslims' actions. May be they hurt you So plz do not forget that no all Muslims follow what Allah and His messenger said Also do not forget Allah tells us " Surely We will test you with a bit of fear and hunger, and loss in wealth and lives and fruits, and give good tidings to the patient". Also Islam is comprehensive religion. So you can go step by step and make order of priorities. For example Shahadah is the first and most important point then Praying …etc. May Allah make us steadfast on the right path

Subway bombing in Uk, shooting in Belgium over Mohamed cartoon, stabbing and beheading in France, religious riot in France and Sweden " ..may the happiness, prosperity.." This is surely not how happiness and prosperity look like.

I was born Muslim and agree with the video. Here are few things I've observed: - The beginning is always exciting and overwhelming. Brace yourself. Don't burn out quickly and take things one thing at a time. - Visit the mosques and get involved in the community. People are very welcoming, but don't overwhelm them. They can get spooked. :) - Don't follow Muslims. Follow Islam. This one is critical. Religion and traditions can get mixed sometimes. Make sure you keep the 2 separate. - Muslims are not perfect. We are not as knowledgeable as we should be. Many reverts start educating themselves quickly and end up exposing gaps in our knowledge (As normal people). Don't be surprised by that. You as a new comer to Islam will renew our faith and remind us that we are distracted (I bet you didn't know you add value right away :) ). - Some reverts feel lonely because they went through a big transformation. It's ok to hang out with your existing circles as long as they don't know anything that Allah forbids. Don't abandon your life instantly and change it unless it's haram, then Do so. Meeting Muslims is like meeting anyone else. We all have Islam as a common interest and a foundation. Find other interests and you got new friends. - It's ok to identify yourself as a new Muslim. You are not a "rookie" in our eyes or the new kid on the block. We find you very interesting and want to learn your story and help you. You cause us to grow stronger in our faith.
