yessss!! i did an LLC and wow the fees to keep up with it. i did one signing!! and wasted so much $$. Now im pregnant so im not comfortable going to other peoples houses and i do not have stable daycare for my son. so i have to put off the notary signing and focus on general work.

I’m at SAHM and would love to start a notary business. I’m worried I won’t have success though. That it could be oversaturated..? And I question why people would use me and pay vs going to their bank and have their stuff notarized for free. (Genuine question) I love your channel! Happy I saw you posted today! 😊 last question.. would you still recommend notary signing for people? Is it worth it? Curious why you went back to 9-5 😊

Hi Ashley! Great questions. I would say the over saturation depends on your area. As far using a bank notary…bank notaries are very limited and they definitely don’t do real estate closing packets. That’s why most notaries add loan signing as a service to their notary business because that’s where the money is. You can also get paid really well doing general notary work because people look at it as a luxury service! I’ve gotten as much as $500 doing general notary work. It’s all about what your state allows you to charge. I went back to work because business slowed down for me and i also had a lot going on in my personal life that being an active signing agent just wasn’t sustainable for me anymore. I definitely recommend getting into the business, even if it’s just getting your commission and doing GNW to start! Hope that answered all your questions!
