For anyone wondering, some things said from 04:35 to 06:30 are wrong. - It is possible to finish the tests on time, though tricky. Most important is still to get as many correct answers though, instead of purely speeding through the test I managed to do it and am not a genius or anything. (was 192nd in my year) - 05:05 The averages don't mean that much. Keep in mind that you often lose points for incorrect answers, meaning a 3/10 could mean you either have 3 correct and many where you didn't answer (not answering or saying idk = 0 points). Or that you got 8 correct ones and 5 wrong. (8-5 = 3/10). So be dillegent with your answers and don't rush, instead try to answer confidentally or 'guestimate'. For 'subjective' parts, like essay writing orso (though not a part of the entrance procedure anymore), a z-score is applied. So don't look at it like you got only 3/10 correct. The final ranking number is the only thing that matters. - 05:40. The proctoring is strict, but only once the actual test starts. In Max' case, because he did not start yet, it wasn't a problem, and could just start the test normally. Secondly, there is also always a window, meaning the test is open for 2 hours. Though you only get 1 hour for the test itself. Not sure what the exact times are, purely used as an example For any questions just ask here in the comments, I'll gladly help Good luck MSc AE student

Hey I got two questions for the admission test itself. Can you only use the formules on the formula sheet or can you use the Binas during the test (to look up different formules)? Also is it necessary to have an webcam on your pc? I personally don't have one rn.
@maximkokorev170623 күн бұрын
@champyez regarding the formulas I'm not 100% certain, in my year it used to be that you could not use anything and could only have blank paper and pens on your desk. But this should be explained in the syllabus or elsewhere quite clearly once you start practicing for the tests. Regarding the camera, yes you 100% need it. Else you won't be able to make the test. I truly advise you to get an external camera which is connected to your PC/laptop via USB, preferably one which also has a microphone. The reason is that you will have to scan/film your room to show you are not using any prohibited tools (like graphical calculators orso.), and using a camera like that you can easily take it off and film everything. You will need a microphone as well, so try to find one which can both film video and audio, you can get them for like max 20€
@champyez21 күн бұрын
@@maximkokorev1706 aight thanks for the answer. Kinda sucks i have to buy some 30 euro camera just for a test but it is what it is i guess

@@champyez You can always borrow a laptop from someone, as long as you have a working camera and microphone (not earbuds) you're good. And look at it like this, if you don't get in, you'll regret and curse yourself for not buying the stupid thing😉

To be considered for admission you must have successfully completed at least the first year (60 ECTS) of a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Engineering study at an accredited Academic university. This Bachelor programme should be in the same, or a closely related, discipline as the BSc programme of your choice at TU Delft.” If I finish first year with great grades especially in MATH and PHY. I literally asked about it over the summer and this was their answer: "Thank you for your interest in our programme. We do not provide any sample, practice, or past exams to prepare for the selection tests for Aerospace Engineering. For the Academic Test you can verify what prior knowledge and skills we expect you to have in the syllabus available on our website (note that this information pertains to last year and may be subject to change for 2023). During the selection procedure you will be given access to a preparatory test, which will give you some insight into the types of questions you will be asked during the actual test (not necessarily the level of difficulty!). If you wish further preparation for the material relating to the mathematics and physics questions, additionally you can have a look at the TU Delft ‘Pre-University Calculus’ MOOC and the ‘Pre-University Physics’ MOOC. The material from these MOOCs is by no means compulsory study material, but may give you additional background if you wish to. Our webpage will be updated later this year with the adjusted documents for the selection procedure 2022-2023. Hope this helps!"
