INTJ female advice to a younger me. Don't suck on lolly pops. They rot your teeth and end up costing you a small fortune. Idiots remain idiots no matter what you do, just keep walking, don't engage. School really is that boring, it's not you, it's them. Everything you need to learn you can teach yourself far more efficiently from the internet or a library. It's ok to spend time alone when you need to. Trust your intuition.

My advice to my younger INTJ self: 1. Be open to opportunity. Don't be stuck to your plans, consider the contingency of unplanned opportunity, and learning to plan on the fly with those new contingencies.That includes other peoples opinions which may sound dumb to you, but are much more genius if you allow them a chance. 2. Learn to allow your heart to guide you. Your life path will split on 2 roads that commit a lot of time and years. 1 path is the career ladder success. The other path is what you really enjoy doing. If you take the path to success and career ladder you may acquire everything, but you will find no joy and will end up back to step 1. If you take path 2 you will open pandoras box to more opportunity than you ever imagined along with joy and satisfaction. If you do both like me, you will realize that path 1 was the biggest waste of time you ever made in your life. 3. Let your heart be vulnerable to love. Allow your heart to be broken. When that happens get back up, dust off your boots and get over it. 4. You absolutely NEED to go out into the real world. Your intuition works 5000x better when you have a handful of real world experiences. SO experience the world is a MUST. As much as you hate it, suck it up. 5. College is better used making social connections for future business partners and opportunities. Your degree won't go anywhere without connections. Socialize and have fun and invest in those connections.

@@jaoco4805 well thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately I'm only good at watching videos not making them. I think whats interesting is that in life you need to live mistakes in order for you to recognise what you do NOT want. It took arriving at what was a successful job to realize I hate it, but found what I loved. It took buying my first house to realize what I want in a house. It took buying fancy cars to realise my favorite car is an old 90's car that I had in my youth. And as I look back, what I recognize I did wrong, was I neglected and sacrificed listening to my experiences for the sake of some greater goal. I had tunnel vision, and convinced myself of this great vision. I could definitely go on talking about it so sorry. But if I had to sum it up in practical advice to myself it would be: ALL skills and specialties you study in school can have success. Artists, construction workers, plumbers, lawyers, designers. when you go to college don't focus on a degree with the biggest bang for the buck. But focus on what you really enjoy studying. The difference between the 2 in the end is you spend all your gas working through getting to that potential imaginary "bang for the buck." When you start work, you run out of gas. And sometimes you realize you hate it. On the second path when you're coasting through school, your gas tank is unlimited. And you spend virtually no fuel. Then when you arrive at your career, you're imagination then kicks in, and the fuel source is rocket fuel. Whats easy for you, is hard for somebody else. Whats hard for you is easy for somebody else. The goal is to find that thing you find as easy as breathing, and your collegues don't understand how you do it so easy.

@@draspotnuk First of all thank you for explaining it deep enough! Feel like I could listen to you talk for hours. The tricky part for me is, I believe that learning what's interesting for me wouldn't generate me the freedom aka money that I was aiming for so I could live the lifestyle that I want. Well, I'm 20 years old and I know I still have a lot to explore. And as of now, I'm into things that generate me some bucks and it is producing some results and it feels right and it gives me sense of purpose. But I know deep inside that if I have all the money in the world this is not what I would be doing. And I think that this dilemma also happens to a lot of people. This is tricky, really. Also how old were you or how long were you working for that job when you realize that you really hated it?
@draspotnuk
@draspotnuk 2 жыл бұрын
@@jaoco4805 your mind and thought process is the exact same as I had when I was going through everything. The vision you have for your future is not short sighted either and I imagine you’ve come up with all the contingencies. It’s when I arrived at the destination when the realizations happened. I finished school I think 22. I got the best job that you could possibly get, there was no better company you could work for. (My resume was impressive). I worked at that job around 5 years and built a resume. I even loved what I did. It was like dating a girl you think you’re in love with. The fuel ran out after about 7 years, it was just another job to me. Then I decided to go and explore every nook and cranny in my specialty, and nothing got lit, I was outta gas. I mastered my work. So then i thought maybe it’s my workplace, and looked for the best workplace, nope. Then I realized about 10 years into it that I hate what I studied for. I mastered it, I got bored, my imagination ran out. And I had a healthy savings and some good investments so i decided to take the risk and quit and start all over with what I loved and what was stupid easy for me. I’d say I wasted around 10 years stuck thinking exactly what you were thinking, imagine if I got my doctorate in some special field. Or stuck with a med school loan or law school loans. This is a reality many many people hit, and as an INTJ you are not immune to this. Some people suffer through it all because [insert lie to the self, justification here]; and it becomes an even bigger waste of time. My thought was I’ll have enough money and I can do whatever afterwards, but when you get enough money you realize money is not enough, there’s something more. Money can buy you the best house, neighbors, scenery, whatever your dream is. But when you buy that dream house... what happens when you realize that you don’t like owning houses? Money can’t fix that. That may not be a good analogy, hopefully the idea comes across. - as a side note the problem that this is, is a philosophical problem. Its trying to fix nonmaterial things with material ones. If theres any take away its this: material problems are solved with material solutions. Nonmaterial problems require nonmaterial solutions. SO if you want to be rich you need to work your butt off to get material wealth. If you want a nonmaterial thing like freedom, or passion, the non material passion or freedom must be addressed with nonmaterial means. Finding satisfaction or relief from something you do. Freedom is also a relative term. but thats besides the point. Also the Idea of what you love wouldn’t generate the money to have the freedom you want, is absolutely and utterly wrong. That sad part of that idea is it takes getting to that position to really learn that lesson. You can make enough, and you will; but that’s a whole topic in itself on why you can. Lets say I love to workout, If i got a job in working out sure it won't make me money, but if I opened my own business or gym I could make some money. Or I could explore healthnut-workout people who have made a lot of money, what did they do? Lets say I loved art, and drawing, maybe if I worked under some company I wouldn't make much money. But If I opened up a business for a niche market or something like advertising, there is money there. When you don't like what you do, you tell yourself "why would I do that? that bite is bigger than I can chew." when you did find your love you tell yourself: "Once I start going, I wonder where this could take me?" The amount of energy you put in, won't even be a thought that comes accross.

I agree that we shouldn't aim for manipulation, but learning how different forms and ways of communicating comes across can be helpful build confidence. I am an INTJ (currently 16 years old) I have noticed for a long time that I am very different than those who are around me. Sometimes it gets really bad to the point where I'm like, "why am I even talking to you? You're literally self sabotaging but complaining about it but also knowingly do it." I tend struggle to stay engaged with them. There are so many patterns in a teenage life, it repeats within everyone and yet no one catches on until they discover it themselves (even when you tell them before they have had the "amazing" idea). I know I am a kid as well and I have patterns... but I can never relate to those around. When I came across this video it spread so much light into my internal conflicts in all aspects. I wish to find more people like me and I'm very grateful for your words. It's hard to be the only one you can relate to at the moment and it can get really lonely at times in need. I strive to be able to be more compassionate with others and I will eventually. It's nice to see those who can feel as I do and can be disappointed but strive for growth. I love that I'm not alone.

When your that young its hard not to feel alone, you intellectually develop much faster than your peers but being introverted means you don't meet many people. As you get older though you'll meet more people like yourself via work and hobbies. You can also find like minded authors such as Asimov and Nietzsche. But its best to just spend this time of your life learning life skills and before you know it you have more like minded people around you.

I’m from the Philippines. I used all of my INTJ strengths when I was in Elementary and High school. I did not really know I was INTJ back then. I was president of our class, president of different school organizations and Student Body president, which was the all-encompassing organization at the time. I was president of 6 or 7 different school organizations at the same school year. I never held a lesser position. It was either president or I’m not part of the group at all. I was class valedictorian and always got 1st honor. I had no problem communicating. I competed in science and won most times. I organized parties, did fund raisers, campaigned for elections, etc. I was busy. Every second counts. I was always strategizing. I did public speeches. I thought I would become a politician someday. At that time, I did not know about MBTI. At one point, I thought I reached self actualization. I changed everything drastically in college. I wanted to be “normal.” So I did not study hard enough. I did not join organizations. I did what others were doing. My INTJ self began to doubt and I became shy and sad. I don’t even know how to get back on track anymore. Well, I know how to, but my bad habits are just so hard to break now. I’m going to start NP school in a few weeks, I hope this could be my start. I’m 40 years old now. I thought I could have become a doctor if I studied hard enough and did not spend my time reading novels and watching TV. Thus, my advice to the younger INTJs is to never think that you are abnormal. Achieving high and big is our normal. Acting like a superman or a superwoman is our normal. Never apologize for it. Live the real you. I don’t have to elaborate more on how to improve your life. You’re an INTJ, you know how to.

I'm almost 50, my advice to my younger self: - yes you're weird and nobody understands you, get used to it. when your mom says you're special she means you ride the short bus. - learn how to interact with normal people. this will take several lifetimes. - chill out and relax, you don't need to be "on" all the time. - more likely than not, you're working harder than everyone else. keep working harder anyway.

Some advice and perspective: 1. Point your curiosity toward yourself. What do I like, what do I want short term and long term, why my instinct says this it's not self-doubting it's being self-aware 2. Learn to differentiate what the world says and what you want to be. This will come with lots of realization that being alone does not mean you're lonely, being a leader does not mean you have to be in the leadership position. 3. Build/cultivate meaningful connections. You don't need 5 friends in your life. If you have one friend with that you can be vulnerable and speak without judgement and vice versa, you already win. Your friend does not have to be similar to you but find the one that encourages you to improve yourself that you turn blind eye to. I'm still learning as well so I will update more in the future

I really appreciated your insights. They made me tear up. I'm currently 37 and I felt misunderstood and alone for most of my life. It wasn't until my 30s that I started understanding the different personality types and how to effectively communicate with the other types. Once you open up and start the process of self development and meet other INTJs it unlocks a whole world of possibilities. I would like to create an 'NTJ' self development group because I believe having a group with the E's would be synergistic or compliment our shortcomings and would have saved me 20+ years of frustration. Most of the successful INTJs I've met didn't find their niche and groove until their 40's-50's. Thank you and Subscribed.

As a 31 years old INTJ-A and as a person who has recently gone through a turbulent but very awakening phase of my time. I say the best things I learned to change or at least learn how to do was living in the moment, we tend to live in our future, the one we built in our head, although I love the process more than the goal it self but there is always a next step to think about so I was always absent in the present, although I am in the early stage of learning and using this but learning to be in the moment, at least some part of my time gives me some peace of mind. The one trait I am struggling with is like you said in the video (around 23 minutes in) my ideas and plans always change and never survives that phase of actually getting it done.. on the ground

Sometimes I simulate interactions between versions myself with different ages. Younger me is tripping over all that's been accomplished, over seeing that I never gave up on myself. My current day say doesn't wan't to make a balance of the cost. Current me is starting to understand that challenges only grow over time, and young me is asking: how can "I" feel doubt or feat after all that's been accomplished? Younger me is glad that amid social and family havoc, I still made a tiny group of great friends, and experienced a few years of fairytale love (yuck cant believe I actually felt that). Interacting with versions of myself help me stay focused, resilient, unbiased and true to myself, like the day I was 21 and realized: all is shit now and these INTJ traits are my biggest assets.

Well said! As a 30 years old, black, female INTJ (yes I took the Myers-Briggs test) and Texas native, I get so tired of going to work and putting on that "warm and happy face" I'm naturally standoffish, self sufficient, and very sarcastic" but if I'm around other introverts or interesting/creative or intellectual people, I open up more. I see no time or value in interacting with the average person. The funny thing is that extroverted people and stereotypical Texans are highly attracted to me. Why? Sometimes I think when extroverts or non interesting people see INTJ doing our own thing and not caring, in their people pleasing nature they find it a challenge to try to win our approval.

The silent mysterious type intrigue them. Chances are they are always blabbing spouting shit and always have. Some cant stand to see well balanced silence. Some interact to try and get a rise out of you just to test themselves and see if even they are interesting. Huge let down for them when they receive no response. Then again, and dont take this wrong, you look pretty hot in that little thumbnail pic so when you say people are attracted to you, there is a visual reason right from the start. 73 year old INTJ, tested as a junior in high school. They gave me a booklet describing INTJ, which meant nothing. It took decades before I understood. My point, do what YOU know is the right and correct thing to do. I worked as a computer programmer for 37 years, and was promoted x times. Why? Because I could solve issues nobody else could. What surprised me? How many programmers, when asked to deal with a new topic replied "I don't know how to do that." When I was presented with the issue? "Well, That's Interesting."

Great advice. Especially resonated with the last part of learning how to manipulate. I feel like we can get cynical because we get misunderstood a lot and whole superficial game most people play. And we take up the mindset of "learn the rules of the game and play it better than anyone else". But I don't think we can be the best at it because of our high regard for morality, objectivity and truth.

38 INTJ-A here.... just be you and enjoy the ride. Life is good when you delve into many different subjects and learn from many different people. I have had many relationships, jobs, and interest due to having this personality type. I find it very interesting how rare being an INTJ-A is. I appreciate watching this video and the advice you have provided for the public. Pausing can slow down the more complex explanations "down" to a point where people can actually process the information you are exploiting. The feeling of being alone is a very common place for an INTJ-A. It's OK in the grand scheme of things to feel alone because you will learn that you are better off accepting your own advice as opposed to someone else's. After all, we do break down every aspect in life into a science. The biggest flaw is learning to accept someone else's ideas to be a reasonable one. I have learned to sit back and listen fully and then just agree with people when the topic really doesn't hold any bearing. It is OK to fail because that teaches us even more about who we are and where we fit in. I have always perfected everything to the point at which I could no longer perfect it. Know your limit of perfection because it could drain you if you delve too deep into a subject. I can't paint, draw, or perform art very well. I tried a few times but learned that poetry is more of a natural talent then painting my emotions. Therefore I perfect my own emotions on paper. We all hold different skills or ability limits and having the INTJ-A personality type does not mean we can all throw a baseball 100 mph. Like I used to at a young age..... perfected baseball, skips career, moves on lol. I'm sure all of you other INTJ-A types have perfected many things in life. I would like to hear them and the ones you are currently working on. I am in college at the age of 38 and learning Cyber Security because it's completely new and interesting. You won't stop learning at my age and I don't see that as a downfall at all. Hope you all learned something today and have analyzed this comment enough to understand one INTJ-A point of view.

Hey Robert, thanks for your insight, I've turned 24 yesterday and reading about people's experiences seems valuable to me. I think my expertise kinda shines in singing, been doing it for nearly ten years. The reason I said kinda is because I don't come from musical background so the musical theory is pretty much abstract and that prevents me from trying to master it. Compared to poetry or drawing for example - I guess you can get more competitive while still expressing yourself so that's dope. Please let me know how the Cyber Security is going, you sparked my interest especially since it's a very possible career choice (my university has this speciality). Take care

Advice to my younger self: "As you suspected, you were absolutely right all along. You really were the only intelligent one and you really were surrounded by irrational bipolars who are unaffected by factual evidence, you are the only one dealing with logic and the tangible world. Please continue without the doubt that you're possibly crazy." I grew up in a family of mostly xSFP's. I have found that as an INTJ, we can be much more open-minded than most people. Like you said, we just need to make the J work for us. And we are so much more observant than any other personality type, imho. I believe that's where our N comes from. The intuition is just how our brain compiles the info from observation and situational awareness. The observation skill even applies to the knowledge we acquire. We're able to make connections no one else can, and understand things on a level that most people wish they could reach. We end up knowing things and don't even realize how we knew it. I think the biggest thing I realized that made a difference in my life is that what I believe to be common sense, is not common sense for most people. My husband, an INFJ, taught me that among other things. He has the ability to understand the aspects of humanity I just don't get and that has changed my life dramatically because our personalities are so similar that he knows how to make me understand. Knowing that common sense to me, isn't common sense to everyone else has allowed me to be more tolerant and less annoyed by others which is huge for us. I have also found that as we age (I'm 44) we learn that life is more about the journey than the destination, and our perspective on life changes. When that happens, we become more interested in other people's perspectives and why they have those perspectives (we always have to know why LOL) and this allows us to understand people as well as emotion better. The best advice I can give other INTJs is to be as open minded as you can be. Be open to knew ideas and experiences, whether that is through people or reading, etc. Use your "mastermind" to its full potential. We are excellent at planning anything, including our lives, so PLAN. Be sure to take into consideration all aspects of your life in that plan, like finances, health, passions etc. Use your alone time (which becomes so precious) to delve into who you are and what your values are. Know that you will always have much higher standards than most people. However, the only people you should hold to those standards are your significant other and close friends because otherwise you will not allow yourself to fully open up to those people. And they need to know what your standards are. (For example, mine is integrity and I hold my husband and closest friends to my own level of integrity). This means that you will lose friends, significant others etc because they don't meet your standards, but in the end, you'll find those people that do and they will mean more to you than your own family. TL:DR - embrace who you are, the people who will accept you and love you for who you are will find you, and you'll intuitively know who they are when they arrive.

I’m glad that you have found your INFJ, as I find that they are these remarkable empathetic people with intellectual proclivities that can understand you INTJ’s and us INTP’s no other. I am no married to an INFJ, but to have several INFJ friends that seem to take a lot if interest in the things I do, say and even accept my idiosyncrasies and INTP quirks. With some INTJ’s, like my best friend of 20 years, as an INTP I get along great as we often exchange idea and never feel alone when when interacting with each other, and my own partner whom I had been married to for over 20 years; but there have been others home have become greatly angered, flummoxed and even door slammed me. That has always been puzzling to me, but it may be that us INTP’s and INTJ, even though we are both so similar and highly intelligent, we still have a very different approach in our thought processes. You used Ni-Te, whilst we used Ti-Ne, which makes all the difference in the world. We are also more critical and blunt than INTJ’s as our Ti dominant function is a judgement function as opposed to the perceived Ni function.

My "into the furnace" first "public" speaking attempt was during my undergraduate, while working at KSC on flight biological research; ANYONE from Kennedy could walk into the hall & listen... the 2-4 minutes of Q & A were the most stressful for me, but in true INTJ GRIT, I stuck to the data & background facts & somehow ended up with thunderous applause!??! I knew my project down to the molecular structure, so confidence in my database was solid: it was PhDs who'd worked on CHROMAX(essentially growing food in a closed hydroponic system in a microgravity environment) for decades that had me uneasy, but they seemed satisfied with my analysis. Confidence in the data you bring to the table is the pivot point. This happened almost 40 yrs ago. Now in my 60s, I still champion thorough research & allow the data to carry it's weight... synthesis of the interplay of patterns is our super power... _Don't be intimidated by "them," Use your capability. Mind your mind._ 🖤

I'm a generation older than you and discovered I was an INJT about ten years ago. People often come to me with problems. My brain literally works like a computer program; I am able to to take in the information and without even consciously thinking I can offer sound advice and solutions instantaneously. I have deep feelings, but they don't belong in discussion of problem/solution, and while I know many people are irrational, I refuse to offer empathy when a solution is available. If it costs me their good favor, I don't care. Life is too short for nonsense.

Your conscious decision to turn off empathy and call it “nonsense” is on you. I’ve had the same issue, until I finally understood that empathy is the lubricant of social interactions, you simply cannot succeed or be balanced in life without it. So I have worked at exercising that empathy muscle 💪, making it stronger and more present in the “now”, while also setting healthy boundaries to protect myself from people’s irrationality. Exercising our empathy helps us be less critical, less judgmental - integrating the shadow side to achieve greater integrity. Best to you.

I’m an INTJ female. I took the test and my intuition was 97%. I know that a test can’t really entirely measure intuition. However, I want ask anyone reading if they get answers to questions or things that they are struggling with out of nowhere? I have even started asking questions right before I fall asleep and wake up with answers. I suspect it is a combination of pattern recognition and intuition. For example, I needed to figure out a strategy to purchase a house and I woke up with 3 different strategies to obtain my goals. I didn’t know anything about home buying but I intuitively knew that there were ways to obtain what I wanted. I researched my possibilities and all of them were viable! No facts just a natural recognition of financial pattern recognition.

But it's nice hearing direct perspective, and such solid advice with the understanding for our type.. I especially love the bit about practicing what you're going to say. I already read people and their body language. I usually will try to be more tactful when I speak but i could stand to practice. I loved your perspective on chess, it's my favorite game besides Monopoly. Both of which my family begrudgingly play with me since I always win🤭 And the bit about internalizing was golden. And to practice externalizing (if that's a word) more in general. Which obviously is way more productive. I saw on a different channel where the guy says "Everyone wants to be INTJ or INFJ (unless they actually are)." - Love Who ..I really related to this unknowingly before realizing my type. Again, AWESOME video ❤

This last week has been a revelation of sorts for me, I didn't know anything about the different personality types, took a test and viola 'INTJ-Architect' but never really understood the implications of it. This really helped put a lot of perspective , also reading up some of the comments was informative. I guess internalizing everything and spinning a cocoon around myself isn't the best intj traits 😅

😄 yea INxx types can easily escape off in to our little world's. But INTJs are at their best when they affect actual changes in the real world, much like an architect.

I'm a 40 year old INTJ...and my goodness, your comments and references connect with me. From just this video, I can tell you think and process information like I do. I'm not sure if that's only because you are also an INTJ, (since I think Myers-Briggs can sometimes be slightly pseudio-sciencey ) but I can already tell I am comfortable with how you approach things

Why pseudo-sciencey? I've hear a few criticisms for MBTI, but none have really been levied well. Is it the function theory? The anecdotal nature of it all? The crocks that spouts out from all the cracks online, like random websites or the mountain of useless typology vids on youtube, probably are poor sources for forming an opinion. Personally, I've found MBTI immensely useful in understanding self, and others.

INTJ in her 40s here. Plethora of wisdom here indeed for the youngsters. You mention Public Speaking and Acting, I was so withdrawn in my 20s, I decided to study Theatre and Dance at University. Highly recommend to INTJs. With the right toolkit we can be extremely persuasive. Also - do not alienate people. You will need them to get anywhere in life. You mention INFPS. My partner is one haha.

When I was a kid, I was in 4H and one of the things I did in it was Demo Talks. They were tough for me, but I did learn a lot by doing them. Some KZbin channels remind me of those talks. Doing one act plays in school helped too. I was more comfortable pretending to be a character and in delivering rehersed lines than I was in just being myself. I'm very good at memorizing and usually had everybody's lines memorized too by the time I had mine memorized. Being critical is a real problem sometimes. It's great for finding and fixing problems, but it can be crippling when you are overly critical of yourself. It keeps me from publishing what I write sometimes. I love to tell stories and to read them too. I have a hard time satisfying that critic though. When I read published books, I see so many mistakes that they didn't fix. For some reason, I'm still working on giving myself permission to have mistakes in what I offer to others. Sometimes, I even edit my social media comments before I post them. I got teased a lot as a kid. My mom used to say that they were like that because they were jealous of my confident competance in areas or subjects that they aren't good at. Very good advice here, for everybody, especially we INTJs.

If people want to tear you down for no reason at all. Your an intj, and there is a reason. Analyze , strategize, execute, do not go back. Be smart, shut up if your young, be careful who you talk about your ideas and grow to understand everything even your own flaws.

Just found this... Going to watch it in the morning, after I've had my 3-5 hours of sleep, and I guess if I have any notable thoughts, I'll share them in an edit. More or less just reminding myself to watch the video because if I take the time to write something out, I'm more likely to remember it. Or maybe I just think I am. Whatever works I guess 🤷.

I am also a 41 year old INTJ. What I’ve always struggled with is “why live” (and I’m not suicidal by the way). If you notice patterns in humanity, everyone sort of just goes around doing things they believe will maximize their pleasure, their status, their ability to control others, and indirectly, a minimization of pain and discomfort. But for what? At the end of the day there are few base pleasures that basically everyone lives for which is interesting (and those pleasures adjust as you age). In all, life is a vain existence for the most part without an eternal purpose of some kind. I’ll leave it at that - no religious stuff here. There are certainly patterns in nature, the universe, and humanity that would lead an unbiased logical thinker to a logical conclusion.
@bko2613

Wow, I think about this all the time. I'm not suicidal, but I wonder why suicide isn't the norm? If I were a computer just calculating the risks and benefits of each individual decision, wouldn't the most logical answer be to just end life? I want to continue, and so does every other sane person, but why? There's a Louis CK bit that I think of all the time. 'I have to write this 20 page paper.... but I could always just do suicide????? So I really have to?' The simplest solution is death. But the human condition creates this will to live. Are our genes tricking us into being irrational?
@theintjperspective2958
@theintjperspective2958 2 жыл бұрын
I've often wondered this as well. Carl Jung said that people can only take as much truth as they can stand, and the truth is that we will all die someday, and that the Universe will eventually go dark. There is probably no after life like we are promised. Being analytical we can arrive at this conclusion and nihilism can set in. Jung feared this was the main problem of modernity, a missing deeper sense of meaning. But humans try to find the meaning in everything, and life has no meaning really, only what we give to it, and its that flexibility that will save us from nihilism. Our meaning is whatever we want it to be. Perhaps we will develop a universe spanning intelligence that is its sole purpose, to slow the cold death of the universe, to bring order to chaos and prolong the life of the universe itself. Maybe even finding a way to cheat it. Ultimately that is the only real purpose to life, to survive as long as possible. We'd just be doing it on a grand scale.

@@theintjperspective2958 23 here, this is my first video of yours I've found after exploring some INTJ stuff, and I have some interesting questions if you haven't already answered them at some point. Have you ever considered yourself as having some mild version of Autism like Aspergers? Do you think there's a connection between certain personality types and what we've labeled as mental illnesses or mental abnormalities? Have you ever considered yourself as a potential psychopath? I've found myself dissociated with most people and their lives, but also cry when dogs die, or feel a sense of being "triggered" when I think people are being hypocritical. Would be interested in hearing your thoughts on this or if you relate in anyway

How can someone know how it feels (to exist in a human body on this planet) without experiencing it? I consider life to be an experience. You can consciously add an extra purpose to your experience. No matter what you (or others) do, or do not do, it has consequences and you experiencing them as well. Cause - effect. Loop. It's like a pre-programmed game in which you are locked (in a body) and can co-create some bits of it.

Get in shape, our INTJness is higly dependent on our dynamic vessel - and don`t buy into inferior Se being "aspirational". Learn, test, evolve, surpass -everywhere & always. Because the humanoids got everything wrong beyond the lower mediocrity level. Embrace chaos and small talk. Feelings are like martial arts stances and guards - they confer hightened cognitive abilities in various areas - use them! Get the frack outside in the sun!

At 12:00, it makes a lot of sense to not use logic to address the problem. But it is hard to turn it off, because often the person is missing the bigger picture or the other side. Anyhow, what do we do when we completely miss it all for years, and now find ourselves having messed everything up?

Not bad for a young feller. Not sure I was onto it at 41 like you are, a lot depends on life experience and how hard the struggle has been, plus how willing we are to learn and be objective. At 61 I'm getting a handle on basic kindness and resisting the urge to judge. Treat everyone with love including yourself, expect the unexpected and stay open. We are kind of special, not so much better, just more specialised in our natural talents. I wouldn't want to be any other four letter combo. Good video, but save the booze till after on the next one kid! It drains our energy a lessens that great potentiality we have and we can run out of steam when we should be hitting our straps. I've learned to pace myself the hard way! People, well at least other INTJs, do notice face plants!
