As an INxJ , I don't know why are people too slow , when it comes to change . We move on very quickly , and we change before most people get that. INFJ door slam and INTJ speed look cruel to others , who want us to be the same ; even though they are unresponsive . As if they may get this person with Ni dom down by keeping the status quo. The status quo is not an INxJ thing . We are future oriented and we love it.

One reason why people push back against INTJs might be that NTJS thinking is pretty complex and an average person does not deepen a subject, does not think it through like INTJ does. It takes an effort to follow an INTJs reasoning - although, paradoxically, they express themselves very clearly.

Yea I can usually lead xSTx types painfully step by step to my conclusions most of the way. But getting them make that intuitive leap is hard, but you can do it. Fortunately xSxx types tend to follow titles and even sometimes reputation. And that usually carries the day for me once I get an intellectual reputation going, and I repeatedly out wit them.

Why would Holmes or any INTJ care about the solar system unless it is relevant to what they are interested in or their goals. I think you have an incorrect understanding of INTJ who tend to not seek knowledge in areas that dont serve their goals or interests. They are practical and seek knowldge that will improve things or their understanding of things in their life. Other personalaities are more intrested in purely theoretical ideas that have little preactical application. If an INTJ worked for NASA they would definately study the solar system. To adetective in 19th century London, the solar system has little to add to his understanding of his world

Poverty does not cause crime, and you can't buy your way out of having poor people. About half of the poor are the involuntary poor who can't do any useful work or get a job because of high risk, the other half are the voluntary poor who would rather drink or do drugs or steal than get a job. Neither group are particularly amenable to solution, no matter how much money you throw at them. Paradoxically, the more money you spend on the poor, the more poor you get, because you make it more desirable to be unemployed than to work bad jobs for low wages.

Great breakdown, I wonder if the villain being generally associated with someone wanting to change things is done on purpose as to subconsciously inundiate us with the message that change is bad and so we see this is movies, books etc and is a reflection of our world in how many things don't change for the better when alot of people agree it should. Or it may be a chicken or the egg type of question as to which came first the fear of change or if it was planted through media and culture. For those in power I could say the former and those without the latter and adopt such mentality through years of being "influenced." But then again Idk jw.

@theintjperspective2958 Aye, I am thinking of the original Holmes. I would argue that there is a good and a bad or shadow INTJ archetype. Holmes had empathy and displayed altruism. He was strongly motivated by justice. He channeled his need for intellectual challenges in such a way it benefitted society. Holmes had true nobility of spirt; he was fair even to paupers, and showed compassion to some criminals. Moriarty had no unselfish motivations and probably would be classified as a sociopath, even a psychopath. A malignant Narcisst. He used his gifts for crime. Holmes was not a Narcissist; he had a real persona, a strong core identity and moral center. He was not sadistic. He did not need people like a Narc does. He was no sociopath either. I'd say an INTJ Sigma with bi-polar type II and Asperger's 😉

I disagree, RObin was setting things right with an overbearing Sheriff and Prince John. He was acting against those who were overbearing but not normal. Once with King Richard returns Robin Hoods stops his act because the status quos was maintained. As with Zorro, its a response to an unfair or tyrannical officials, remove the oppressors, and Zorro has no purpose. Neither Robin Hood or Zorro try to change the world permanently, they are simply setting things right, returning things to the way they should always be. Neither are ushering in a new world, they are merely returning things back to rightful way.

*The great villains are INTJs until the final act of the story (movie). At this point, they transform into an ESFP (or something similar - incapable of being a great villain) and make every possible mistake so the "Good Guy" can win and provide a "Happy Ending". *The Billionaires (Entrepreneurs) are rarely INTJs. Most are Extroverts who profit from Introverts’ work. From all the INTJ mistypings Elon Musk (clearly an Extravert - at best ENTJ/ENTP - who wants to play the INTJ) is the worst. Zuckerberg, Bezos, Gates, Jobs, etc. belong to the same category.

@@theintjperspective2958 *Most “James Bond” films (saturated with supervillains) follow the same recipe. In the first film of the series, “Dr. No” (1962 - Dr. No is probably an INTJ), James Bond refuses to join the secret organization SPECTRE but the Doctor decides to keep him alive, without proper supervision, and as a result, James destroys his perfectly (until then) executed plan, and saves the world. The final 10-15 minutes are ludicrous. *The same recipe can be found in numerous films. *The comic “Watchmen” is a rare exception. The INTJ succeeds but Rorschach reveals the truth. The ending is neither good nor bad. Classic (but rare) case of “Irony”.
