We should teach women to show sabr if men are working less, still obey husband in ma'roof and stick to him and be submissive to him in shareah. And they should pray to Allaah that may their husband get good and well paying jobs soon, ameen. And if they are not getting well paying jobs still the wives should stay in home and show sabr.

You living in a shirk world a women will submit to anyone than her creator....Allah swt we only have to obey our husbands to what Allah has asked us to guard...not anything our husband wants....women should be treated fairly with kindness and not like dogs in islam,go check your religion,no women will obey a disobedient man and im sure Allah is still very happy with us.

Assalamualaikum It’s tragic though when there is a divorce and the sister cannot support the family properly (many men forget their obligation after finding another wife and moveon with their lives. This is too common astaghfirullah

May Allah have mercy on us. Some husbands even encourage their wives to work (in fact only seeking to marry working wives) in the pursuit of moving up in society.

What brought you to a situation where you are a single mom? I though the father gets custody of the children in Islam
