Hiii Adinda. Thank you sooo much for your valuable videos. Well next year, I'm going to apply Erasmus university. But actually, when I comes to a new environment, I'm really nervous about getting to know people. I am an introvert, rather a social introvert. Alhough I can talk to people, not really isolating myself from others but I'm just worried about whether I can really fit into their parties, whether my way of speaking is a bit weird and boring to Europeans (because of the environment I grew up in). All of them are Vietnamese friends. Even though I have contact with foreigners, but you know like they are teachers...). So, if you don't mind, can you share with me some tips and problems that you may encounter in the process of integrating into student life in the Netherlands?

It is a very weird question but how can I know which materials or books will I need? And do I have to buy them?

It really depends on your course. There’s always free pdfs that people will share around. But you can always buy them as well. It’s hard to know which books that you’ll need until the teacher told you or you can always ask a second/third year.

This tips are really useful! And I agree to almost everything... I'm in Erasmus too, but only from 2 months and half now. How do you plann the things you have to do, and then actually do them? This is the biggest struggle for me 🙈

I totally feel you! Most of the things that i have to do are actual deadlines from school or my student organizations so that’s my motivation to actually do them or else they prob get angry at me ahahah 😅

Well it obv depends on you. If you don’t like to socialize and just kind of stay in your room then it is possible. But generally people always say hi in the elevator or smth like that.
