James was on top of the world in the 70’s with hits like Brain’s Song , Godfather, Rollerball, A bridge too far, Funny Lady, Killer Elite, Thief, The Gambler. But hits continued to follow and who could forget Misery in a big year for movies 92. Later on he did TV roles but was solid! He will be missed God bless !

Godfather 1 and 2 are like fine wines. You appreciate them more over time and have to almost be of a certain maturity to fully understand how great they are. As a kid I didn't care much for either film(I enjoyed the action and exciting parts but overall they dragged on too much at the time). After rewatching both years later I then realised just how brilliant both films were. I personally don't mind part 3 but the first two are phenomenal.

He and Steve McQueen were my favorite actors in the 1970s and when I watch them now they bring me right back to the 1970s a special and great time
