Just wanna say I’ve been struggling with this test for two years now. Never took an official test, but studying while working full time. This video has been a God send to me and I’ll be providing an update after incorporating your input. Please never take this down

Yup, when I first began testing I read too far into the LR questions and hovered around 170-174. Would explain my reasoning to people and have them essentially say "it's not that deep". Letting go of your intuition and learning the "language" of the LSAT is what got me to consistent 175-180 scores.

Everyone: being smart No one: Literally no one: Him: cognitive power

Idk why but I heard cognitive "horsepower"

Thank you for your videos. They're really encouraging. I guess I'd consider myself a high cognitive student but standardized tests absolutely terrify me. I feel better after having watched this and will keep your best of both words balance in mind.

This is exactly the reason I dislike these types of tests!

Not because I think I'm smarter! Because I don't want to invest in mastering one skill for one application (the damn test)
@realestedm16366 жыл бұрын
It's not one application. If you're showing improvement, then you're likely improving your logical thinking skills, or your reading comprehension skills, or your analytical skills, or some combo of the three.

@@realestedm1636 Which will be damn useful when you’ve gotta brief 150 pages of dense appellate/SCOTUS cases each day as a 1L and somehow organize that information into a comprehensible picture.

I only got a 168 but using complicated techniques sounds like a dumb thing to do when you have such a limited time to study. My method was just first find out how to do them 100% accurate using a complicated technique then simplify it till it's fast/2nd nature.

gracias por esto vídeos, la verdad es que aveces uno necesita estar como en un salón de clase ademas de estudiar por cuenta propia. El examen es este sábado 8 de feb y estas tecnicas me ayudan bastante

Very informative! Thank you very much for posting this. I am only 17 and a junior in high school and I just wanna get an idea of the LSAT, and this is helping me. Once again, thank you!

I am really curious about your journey. You must be about 26, I wonder what you went on to do. Did your interest in the LSAT persist?

@@TheThomasmbajjwe I always wonder these things, too, when I see old comments. I hope that he answers eventually. I'm a lot older than him but I am trying to get into law school, too. I hope he was successful. You, too.

“Approximation techniques” perfectly encapsulates how I fool sighted people into thinking I see better than I do.

Excellent video, I am currently using powerscore, manhattan lsat, and blueprint for self study, mainly on the games. How similar are your techniques to these programs?
