Interesting idea about using a brush to brush snow off before they bring it in the tent. I'm going to add a brush to me winter camp kit.

I agree, was just going to comment the same.

This says a lot about how finely meshed and tight woven your wool is.

Thanks for the informative video. Was wondering what to do if I ever get my WeatherWool Anorak littered with those pesky burrs. And I really liked the history on the use of brushes, especially for removing snow before entering your shelter.

I would use compressed air with an inline de-humidifier filter hooked up to the hose.

Wow .... I will bring this to the attention of Advisor Randy Dewing (who did the video) and wife Debby, who is much more on top of the wool care than I ever will be! THANK YOU -- Ralph

I have a couple kinds of burrs in my area, as well as briars that try and tear at my wool products. I have not had success with these brushes removing them, I'd very much like to test a WeatherWool jacket and see if it is any better or not. Is the Mouton Jacket essentially the same outer fabric as the one displayed here? This seems to be the main downside and predicament for investing in one of these for use in the woods and uplands near me.

I can relate. This is Cody. I work here are WeatherWool now and I have the same issue. It seems some burrs are easier to brush out than others and I must have the same ones you have because I don't have any luck with the brush either. Since the burrs are seasonal and only when I'm pushing bush I tend to have a waxed canvas shell for when I'm walking through burr country. This is my only criticism of WeatherWool. Certainly something I'm trying to figure out a solution to as well. Stay tuned. I'll be sharing some stuff about the burrs I encounter soon and how I deal with them.

@@WeatherWool Thank you! Very much look forward to your ideas for the burrs.

Please add a detailed video COMPARISON for all the items you sell. Thickness of the material comparison between the items and some kind of temperature rating each item has that lets you feel comfortable while outside in autumn and winter. These are the main things i see you do not address on your website and would be even better addressed on video.

THANKS! --- We do address these issues in general but not usually by specific item. You might want to take a look at this page that discusses our Fabric weights: weatherwool.com/pages/fullweight-midweight We plan to do a lot more video and we intend to imbed videos directly into our website. Always great to hear ideas! -- THANKS AGAIN! --- Ralph & Family
