Fun conversation. Thank you! FYI... not just for smaller riders. I have two and am 6-4. They are fun for everyone!

Great video! Long live the TW200. It’s amazing how a great community can be formed over such a simple machine! 😃

I'm 5'10" and I ride a T-Dub as wells as a BMW R1150GS ADV. Not all riders are short in stature. T-Dubs are scarce in the suburbs where I am, but out in the country, you really need one. In northern MN, T-Dubs are definitely targets for theft, usually from someone's unattended lake cabin. The T-Dub will never be sold.

I like my 2000 TW. My setup. BarkBuster hand guards, Pro Tapper bars, 1.5 bar risers, ProCycle Suspension, skid plat, Front Man Rack, rear Tusk rack, DMO front pegs, updated carb, updated lighting, Rigg rear panniers, rear Viking rack bag, Rigg tank bag, Shinko 241 front tire. My basic set up.

I was looking at a TDub but settled on a Monkey for it was cheaper and the FI was ideal, Big Bore Kit put my power a touch more than the Tdub and still weighs over 50lbs less... Looking to take on the NEBDR this year! Good conversation, so close to getting one but the cost to get into the mini Honda for a noob ADV rider was just too appealing. Best,

Very cool interview. Two TW icons. I found the “What would you change “ topic interesting. Easy front sprocket change would be great but what do I know I am still waiting for the Yamaha gods to release my TW from the factory.

Shinji kazama rode a heavily modified tw200 to the north and south pole, with little to no help from a 4 stroke. He fit what i remember to be a 200cc 2t to the tw200 frame. The fairings on the south pole trip were to keep the air cooled motor warm enough for the adventure.

I have a 1986 BW200 (same motor as the T-dub). I have ridden 2 stroke killers (RM 250) that will break your neck and 1400cc+ street bikes, and nothing compares to my B-dub and a T-dub.
