The implicit assumption that African Mornachies are inherently opposed to the interest of the people is both fallacious and mischievous. The political parties themselves were registered under apartheid time legislation, does that delegitimise them? So why would the instrument under which Ingonyama Trust was established be argument against its legitimacy? Let's have a more substantive debate.

I am encouraged that Ngcukaitobi is not advocating unnecessary changes to the constitution, but rather an exploitation of the constitutional transformative agenda. This conversation about amending the constitution would mean that we, in fact, do not have a law as a country. It just amazes me that he and Dali Mpofu, both lawyers of similar minds on the need for transformation, hold such different views on the issue. Mpofu and the rest of the EFF main characters howl all day about how the constitution is insufficient to allow land reform.

You might want to listen to Advocate's response from @11:34 then. That is the nature of the beast. The ANC is the governing organisation - this is how you pose and frame questions to an organisation that leads a country.

In other words the people under the Ingonyama Trust must each get a Title Dead to their property! That is 100% acceptable and Constitutional!

Millions of hectares of valuable arable & pasturable land are in the hands of kings, chiefs and indunas in South Africa for many decades, which is completely left out of the equation and little said about. The truths about these millions of hectares, thousands of black people who live in the towns and cities have large allocated portions and have communal use on some portions of this land. Many have large herds of cattle, sheep and goats back at home at their homelands. Because these portions are not registered in the deeds office, it is purposely left out and not honestly brought into account when land is theoretically debated. It is about time that reality also brought into account. Many of these “portion owners” are far richer than revealed. It is common knowledge that many of these herds of livestock owners own up to 200 x head of livestock. Actually many millionaires in their own right, nobody speaks about this??

What are saying. We want the land that white people are not using so that we can use it. An ordinary man on the street must have equal access to the land. WE WANT THE LAND.

I agree with Frans Cronje, Julius gets Zuma elected as president in 2008. Then follows the Gupta period and the country's growth drops to 2019 and now Julius Malema doesn't admit it is indirectly his fault, now he blames the white farmers? Once again, the locust says it is the ant's fault that it is so heavy on him. Question: Are the money that some blacks accept as restitution instead of land, taken into account when calculating the percentage of black-owned area as well as the value of millions of RDP homes?
