I did jail ministry and shared this story with the inmates. It was an eye opener for them. The goal of every visit was to get them all to give confession to a priest. At the end of each visit they did want to confess and we're repentant of hart. Mother Mary was always with us in the cells when I visited them.

My (otherwise wonderful) spouse is virulently anticatholic, because of dealings with bad shepherds, and even worse sheep, shall we say. She is mortified by my own return to the faith. I've been praying constantly to bring about her conversion. But not being able to live my faith in the open is taking its toll, it seems. This powerful story really hit close to home.... so much so that for the first time, I've litterally broken down in tears as I started to recite the Hail Mary. Here I was, sobbing incontrollably, locked in the bathroom at work, praising God while asking for guidance... and trying to offer up the pain for her and my family... A grown man, like Claude Newman, in a puddle of tears. Lord, come to my aid, Holy Mother of God, pray for me!

Today is my youngest sister's birthday. She usually asks me to pray for her as she hasn't prayed for many years. I lit a candle & a stick of incense and prayed the Rosary on her behalf. I noticed the candle began to flicker. I opened up KZbin and this story caught me by surprise. I am a firm believer that God forgives us when we truly repent. Reciting the Rosary daily has given me a lot strength to carry on. My 4 yr.old grand daughter said she also wanted a Miraculous Medal; so she now has one. For the last 5 years or so I have suffered with what I thought was a cyst under the skin of my forehead right in the center of the hairline. I had a surgery to remove it and the Dr was unable to because it turned out to be a lipoma instead of a cyst. After the surgery didn’t get rid of it I just went back to being embarrassed and wearing a hat to keep people from seeing it and giving me weird looks. For a while I’ve worn this medal not knowing what it was or the story of it. Last week when I heard I took the medal off and placed it on the spot where the lipoma is. I asked The Blessed Mother to take it and heal me. That was last week and earlier when I felt of the spot the lipoma is half the size it was and far less noticeable. I believe that in time it will go away completely. Thank you so much Mother Mary.

What a beautiful story.!!!! I specifically asked my husband to get me an Our Lady of the miraculous medal for my 60th birthday because I always pray the miraculous medal novena every Monday, since the mid 90's when my parish priest would pray the novena every Monday right before the Benediction and the 5:30pm mass at St Thomas the apostle church in New Jersey. I am 87 years old. When I was 15 my mother was in the last stages of Consumption (TB) My younger brother & I took care as best we could. What a great story. Father Clovis took advantage of this fantastic opportunity to teach the people in the pews about the Blessed Mother and Her power. This power she uses, for our benefit, before Almighty God. Many do not know the power and influence the Virgin has been granted with the Trinity for our benefit. I wish the clergy would use the teaching moments available to them every Sunday at Holy Mass. The average person in the pew is ignorant of so many things about the faith. Perhaps the modern day clergy are not well versed in the use of medals and scapulars and the power of them, given for our use and benefit.

When I got my first Miraculous medal, I wore it always O was working at getting trailers ready to be shipped! I was desperate four that job another 4 weeks. I got fired!!! I touched my medal and said the prayer, then said, "You can't fire me!!" What you say is a lie!!! This was on a friday evening!! When I came to work on Monday, my time card was not there, I pounded on the counter and demanded my time card, and they brought it out!! I was there exactly 4 weeks when I got laid off with some others!!! Miraculous Medal got me through it!!!!
