Nice! What concentration did you use with Perecetic Acid? Is it ok at 5% ? ?

The bleach is composed of 1 Litre of 9% hydrogen peroxide (food grade) plus 27ml of glacial acetic acid 98% at 21-23C. 5% is a bit weak but may work if you use it at higher temperature with less acetic acid - although there’s a risk of blistering

@@adycousins Oh! I have made reversal process in Large Format using H2O2 and Citric Acid, but never thought Perecetic acid was the same. Shame on me! Nevertheless it's an outstanding work the one you've made! Cheers, friend!

@@tcdp9804 I think it’s probably wrong for me to use the term ‘peracetic acid’ as I’m not sure it’s accurate, it’s basically just dilute peroxide plus dilute acetic acid - pretty sure peroxide plus citric acid isn’t peracetic acid.

@@adycousins I think so, I have read that perecetic acid is more corrosive than H2O2 and i've seen a guy from Brazil who makes reversal process with Perecetic Acid, but would't answer my questions (so far) so it's a bit intriguin for me. I develop slides by my ows which should be the same for Ektachrome film in terms of practicity but can't be sure. I've been too lucky to succesfully reverse 90's chrome films (with uncertain storage data) Regards

How was this stuff stored? For reversal its working really well

I've only had the stock since Nov 2017, I don't know how its been stored since I got it but suspect its been cold stored, I overexposed by one stop and used D-94 which is highly active

B&W film seems much more resilient than colour in my experience, its easier to develop old reversal as neg if its lost sensitivity
