Probably just fresh crushed thai chili mix with lime, sugar or palm sugar and fish sauce.

I’m so tired of hearing chefs say that their food is under represented because every time I turn on a cooking show they’re showing Mexican, Asian Filipino South American they’re showing all these flavors and they’re saying they’re under represented. I think the only country that’s under represent. It is America Eastern European food I mean come on I mean all they’re showing is these ethnic creations OK fine I’m OK with that but don’t go saying that you’re under represented when all they’re doing is showing these heritage flavors, I mean, just acknowledge that you are being acknowledged don’t go crying on somebody’s shoulder saying you’re not getting enough attention when all you are is getting attention, please stop whining

But is IS underrepresented. Lao food is CONSTANTLY being pushed under the bus by other cultures. The reason why you see so many rep nowadays because media acknowledges the IMPORTANCE of representation of cultures and their foods. You barely see lao resturants in places, and when it is, its always marketed as "thai." Those peoples feelings of their culture and food being represented is COMPLETELY valid. "Crying on someone's shoulders" when did she ever do that? She simply expressed and recognized as a lao person, that her food isn't popular and that she wishes to share them with others. Ae is the LEAST whiny person I know, I think media has gotten to your head.
