@docd.t.torrance78454 жыл бұрын
@@fredocricket58 No offense, but I am struggling a bit following what you are saying. So I hope I respond appropriately. I watched the clip and am well aware of what happened. This was a public defender, free to those who can't afford an attorney since US law states legal counsel is your RIGHT even if you can't afford it. This man, the attorney, is doing his job for little money, as a public defender, and the judge is unhappy with the number of cases he is required to preside over as part of HIS JOB. So instead of just doing his job and allowing the public defender to do his job, which is making sure the client/defendant gets his RIGHT to trial the judge is throwing a tantrum. He then proceeds to ask the public defender outside for a literal brawl. The judge is later officially removed from the bench for his actions that broke multiple laws as well as the oath he took to justice. The public defender and judge both work for the people and the judge failed the people here.
@docd.t.torrance78454 жыл бұрын
@@fredocricket58 At that point the judge doesn't get to decide, nor refuse, anyone's right to trial. So the defender was making it clear to the judge that they intended to go ahead with a trial and weren't looking for a plea deal, which is why the judge wasn't happy. @josephfowler9643 жыл бұрын
He did smile, you could see it when the dad jumped him and when the police officer looked at him. He straightened his face out like "but I didn't even do anything..." He was absolutely smirking at the dad, he was even half smiling when he stood up out of his chair. Put him in a chair with some voltage and see how long that smile lasts. The sad thing is, if the dad had actually landed blows, it would have given the murderer a better chance at a reduced sentence... That's most likely why the perp did it.

It did not help the officers were so dedicated to their jobs.... It is funny you can call the police in some places and they will not show up for hours during active brawls and shootings, yet they do their job on overdrive when kids steal gum from a bodega, or a killer actually NEEDS his butt kicked. They are all 120 mile per hour Pit Maneuvers and linebacker blocks then....

I really loved Mr. Booths reunion with the judge. You can just tell he saw everything from the moment he met her and where his life went. The fact that the judge was just so sweet and had nothing but lovely things to say about and to him goes to show you how beautiful just a little act or in the case a hyper-memory can do.

I've seen quite a few videos of Judge Glazer being a genuinely kind and caring person. Most judges or officers will treat people who are obviously mentally ill like everyone else and give out the same sentences, but she actually helps them and recommends psychiatric help when it's obvious (or even subtle sometimes) that they need it. She is a perfect example of what a judge should be, at least in my opinion.

I really hope Mr. Booth turns his life around. When the judge said, "This was the nicest kid," and "I always wondered what happened to you," I hope that gave him back some feeling of self-worth. Because he is worth getting better 🙏

Also, proof that her mental health is severely poor. Punishing someone so mentally ill accomplishes nothing and is literally wasting the courts time. Someone who has been put on court ordered treatment in the past has a very severe mental illness. I’ve worked with people like her. They literally get injected with drugs against their will, it’s that severe.

Wasnt the judge from the initial trail. My dad was the probation officer that processed him the day he was arrested. He told me he was a good kid trying to act tough by saying he did the crime, but he knew he and his cousin hadn't committed the crime. My dad hated that particular DA, investigator that were in the first trail. DA was adamant of just having a crime "solved" for political reasons, like many DAs unfortunately are.
