Even Ted Bundy is as not restrained in court. That’s why there are Marshall’s. The problem is that they didn’t do their job when the judge was attacked. I’m sure they learned their lesson. I hope.

All of the battery could have easily been fatal, especially the first one during the jump, but he did not choose to do so. It was clear that his strength was great, but the manner of his attack was not intended to be fatal, and indeed there was just one bruise caused, potentially not from direct impact. He did sent a marshall to the hospital, which is further evidence that he was able to do the same on her, but he only did it to the marshall in a combat situation.

@@dennismcpeek9630 after he attacked her she became a victim, and the victim needs to testify even if it's a judge, it's an extraordinary case. She knew very well what she was doing because she's an experienced judge, so she made damn sure to cry, put emphasis on the trauma and get an emotional reaction so she can ensure he gets the worst possible treatment of justice. This isn't a helpless victim, she's a judge who knows the system and is out for blood to make this man's sentence as lenghty as possible.

attacking a judge you are attacking the state

The judge is NOT the state. The state is the prosecution. The judge is anonymous and unbiased- hence the robe.
