"They all hate me." That is SO sad. Being non-neuro typical myself, I definitely know where he is coming from. You feel like a completely burden to people around you and like somehow you should be able to be "normal" But at the level of your mind being at the age of 13, and hearing him say "They all hate me. I just needed a break." He was doing his best to manage his emotions. I hope his family learns how to make him feel loved and important cause that's what he needs.

A lot of thirteen-year-olds are at that latent and emerging stage of rebellion, where they really do feel that nobody understands them and they need to escape. To be a grown adult man with the mental capacity of a thirteen-year-old would make this even harder, I imagine. I do appreciate though that the two cops referred to him by the preferred term "little person" instead of something demeaning like "midget" or "munchkin". Being somebody who is physically a little person in stature often attracts bullying, but these two men were immediately kind and respectful to him. It's nice to see a lack of ableism in police services. When I was in Japan, people with disabilities were treated with a great deal of stigma by various social services.

Woh. That last one is such an important reminder that most people, if not all, are doing their absolute best. It's not that easy. We must realise that every human has their own set of circumstances. Everyone is walking on a different path and we have each other for support, encouragement and unconditional love. Not for comparison, which doesn't make sense from that point of view.

I am the harshest critic of America and how certain people are treated but I have cried, laughed and just felt all emotions, from that last guy who lost his daughter,to Dante messing with the radio, the baby resting his head on her shoulder and Landon being sweet as usua.l...It just makes you take a step back, ofcourse I know there are good people but seeing it is so heartwarming and that officer Will...I could happily sit on... I mean next to him any day lol🤦🏾♀️.
