Does the 114 fuel tank bolt right into a 111 Levin/ trueno??

it doesnt, the area needs massaging to fit and also new mounting points for the straps are needed. Once done, it fits like OEM. The rear seats also sit back properly.

Did you have to run a vacuum line to the awd gearbox and a switch?

And did you have to match the front and rear diff ratios or does the transfer case not care and do a torque split reagrdless?

No line needed, its a full time AWD box.

@@Diffwrecker The rear diff was from the same vehicle. The transfer is a 50/50 split with LSD, any differences in front:rear ratio would more than likely result in damage to either box or diff over time.

@@Diffwrecker Never did. For this to work also I believe you would need to weld the front diff. But it goes sideways pretty easily as is, the back always wants to come around. Making donuts is effortless.

From the first gen rav4, those that came 4wd 3sfe or 3sge so from about 1995 to 2000.

good video friend I have a question, which vehicle did you take the awd gearbox from? I was thinking of doing my Corolla sedan awd with Toyota rav4 transmission box I don't know if it could be compatible when counting my car with a 4A engine and the rav4 with a 3s engine

Hi the gearbox is from a Celica GT4 and was originally made for the 3sgte. The first gen rav4 gearbox would work as well but just consider that it is not a 50/50 split like the celica and not as strong. The rav4 gearbox would not bolt to a 4a. If you would like to keep your 4a, you can source an awd box from the ae114/ae115 though they are very rare to find.

Can this all be done without any cut and weld on ae101 chasis ? Or is it impossible to do it without cutting chasis or panels ?

Awesome vid mate👌 Im still wondering if instead of using the sprinter carib(ae115) for a donor, maybe i could use a 2nd gen caldina(st215) since it comes ready with st205 celica parts, would it be a harder option if i went down that path?

To be honest, I have no experience with the rear subframe of the ST215. Apart from possibly different mounting points, you may run into issues with wider track width than the AE and also those carry 5 lug hubs, so may either have to convert the front to 5 lug to match or the rear to 4 etc.

@@vincycharma they should be the same in width though, with the same number of lugs since they are both built on the celica platform, but ill first have to get my hands on the awd caldina, thanx for the info tho👍
