Soooooo nice. When i was 15, one of the first non fun things I did with me Elky was its heater core. I thought it was total bs. I have done a few others since, and i have to say, I wish they were all put together like a 80s chevy.lol

I LOVE your videos so much man, for real It's just so good to see people work on these SR5s, they deserve love too!

@ Yes but you do it very good, like repairing that old ass heater core man that’s recycling !! I thought you were just gonna replace it 🙏that’s amazing And the cleaning of the interior, polishing of the gauge cluster… truly beautiful I can’t wait to get mine on the road, I need to fix the leaky power steering, put back OEM springs because I live in hell and my lowering springs don’t pass tech inspection (because no TÜV) and passenger left side headlight that doesn’t pop up or down and fix rear demist that doesn’t work, otherwise everything works ! Mine is a 85’ Trueno gt apex 😁also coupe kouki like yours

Just did my heater valve by taking dash out, if I ever have to do it again definitely doing it this way lol. BTW JDM heater control cables worked fine to replace my USDM cables when two failed on me $80 buck brand new for the set of cables.

What'd you use to shine up the gauge cluster? All my cars gauge clusters look awful and I'd love to replicate that.

couldn't tell from the video: does the blue cable next to the white one (that does recirc) actually go anywhere? I have a non-A/C car and it seems like it's there for A/C or something that's unused?
@soup-based3185Ай бұрын
It's for the heater control valve
@kelvinarreolaАй бұрын
Yes, opens and closes the valve in the engine bay

U did NOT even hav to cut anything…. Just keep taking off the vents! It’s goin to need cleaning because debris can fall into the blower & the weather connections is already going brittle and need replacement. Smh
