Hey i know this is an old video what but I have the same set up other than the blockoff plate I'm thinking its my tps since my rpms float then the car dies, but are you running stock ecu?

when you plug up all the connections for the iacv I wonder why it didn't work?

Part of what the iacv does is let in air and idle higher on cold start (keeps it from shutting off), once it feels through the coolant line that the engine warms then it’s -supposed- to close that air inlet and bring you back to normal idle. Being 30+ year old parts they tend to get stuck open and can even cause a bouncing idle; the TPS detects that the throttle is closed but it’s still getting air in, ‘causing the ECU to get a little bipolar on the air/fuel ratio.

What did u do with the barb on the thing that looks like a fuel pressure regulator that had a hose attatched to the iacv

Where do you put the coolant lines that connect to the iacv valve?
