the 6 pounder is such an underrated gun. the cromwell plays like an mbt with a fast reload and great mobility

This thing is definitely a clubber of seals there's no two ways about it lmao - I think people tend to underestimate the 6-pounder both on this thing and other British tanks as just another not-very-good solid shot gun, and while it does have idiotic solid shot tendencies (like that round you fired at the Spj on Golden Quarry here that passed straight through and just yellowed the engine) when it works it can be pretty brutal, it's got some serious pen behind it and can get through angles surprisingly well, like the M4A3 105's front at closer ranges and very easily the side armour of the Panzer IV. Combine that with an armoured car body that isn't too fast that it's hard to control like the Puma sometimes is, isn't too slow either, has just enough armour to generally mean AAs won't instantly kill you if you're ready for them, and other good soft stats like the shoulder-stabiliser, good reload, and three-man turret with good traverse makes this thing really nasty for beating up tanks even some way above its BR, let alone in downtiers against things like BT-7s and Stuarts. Of course though no matter how good a vehicle it is, your skill is what makes it work Wogby, these are some killer games!

Thank you! I could have done more. I have a whole folder of 14-18 kill games, but I decided I'd save them for a rainy day. The armor on this little truck is way more effective than you would expect, and the stabilizer is probably more effective than it should be. It's a fun tank.

Honestly, this is why I can't bring myself to play at low tier, it's so stupid how easy it is, it's like a highly trained soldier going up against a bunch of kids with toy guns, that analogy probably doesn't make much sense but you get the point! 😂
