Words cannot express how unreasonably happy that anime intro made me haha! Well done good sir (and to everyone else involved)! The production value and effort put into these series you do along with the humor and animations/illustrations is just great entertainment all around are always worth the wait! Take as much time as you need (but man it's gonna be hard waiting for the next one.....)
@crumpetsoundsАй бұрын
I don't think you can talk of "slow" uploads when what you're uploading is this good. So many moving parts with all the little animations, sound effects, music- and although you've outsourced for some of it, it's still you who's got to plan, edit and bring all the disparate parts (including this clearly bass ackwards fever dream of a game) together. And you make it look effortless! The mind boggles. Absolute quality.

I usually imagine Qud as a more "contemplative" game, if that word is even correct in english, a more somber game, but I have to say, this way of narrating the journey of Aecius, full of memes and weird internet humor, is actually really fun and unexpected! I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought, truth be told. 27:16 made me almost fall out of my chair lol.

I LOVE all the choices you made with this episode. The intro is amazing of course but I was also charmed by the commercial break! I definitely like the narrated montages as a way to keep the story moving when gameplay gets slow or repetitive. I'm so intrigued by this game and have seen glimpses of what it can be in the late game so I can't wait to see Aecius get there. Maybe someday he can have time bending turtle powers! I hope you can find your balance in your video production, but don't underestimate our patience for your amazing videos. Also, don't overestimate our expectations of quality: you always exceed them :) Treat yourself excellently!

I might make use of Ivan Duch's music for DnD games and other projects. The close-ups of Aecius' face with the hand reaching for the mine and of him licking his lips. I dunno, it just got me and made me giggle at my computer screen. And of course, THE INTRO! THE AMOUNT OF WORK YOU PUT IN AND THE COLLABORATION PAID OFF!
