The visual humor is off the charts in this series. I burst out laughing at the "keep your eyes peeled" (8:15)

Thanks again Krugg. I am sure I said before but you got me through lockdown in covid and I'll always be grateful for that. The best content on the internet in my opinion!

Do Not Like How The Intro Is Now Definitive With It Being Unoriginal And Does Not Fit The Theme Of Caves Of Qud. We Miss The Effort And Charm Given Your Other Series. Digress Over Community Reputation And Supposed Funny Memes, Oh Well. Ten Minutes To Be Brought Back To Immersion. The Amount Of Animation Frames Is Beautiful, But Feel It Takes A Lot From Amount Of Story Foretold.

Some animals (especially the giant variants) when attacked will actually fight back and while a horse hoof might dent a goblin skull I can ASSURE you a giant ape fist will explodificate the entire goblin into pieces.

eh, shame to see how much this series went downhill, ive noticed early signs of it before with the constant bringing up of him not fighting which was obvious that he would and it was just annoying, and the coins kept being alluded to but never really did anything, it does make me wonder how much of this was planned in advance. Reguardless i don't see it worth watching the end to this or the next one no matter what happens, just not a fun or good story in my opinion and might put me off from watching krugg for a while

Your pace is fine since it really could end at any moment, but at the speed you're going you would probably take another couple dozen episodes at least to reach the end game content. Odds are you die way sooner than that, although your build is a bit less risky than what I usually run.
@SnooglebumExists23 сағат бұрын
I think you going into the game without looking anything up is honestly delightful-- the appeal of Qud is being lost in this gigantic and incomprehensible world, and going in fully blind adds to that.

I have put getting Dwarf Fortress off for some time. I just recently bought it and your videos have very creatively shown me the limits of the game, which is so important when trying to RP a bit, not knowing the limits can ruin immersion. This video provided goals for me to achieve and now I know to take my time and not rush anything. This was because now after watching this I can understand the complexity I should be expecting. The detail in this game is something I will definitely be appreciative of. Keep up the great work! Please! This kind of content is going to be useful forever and the story you've crafted is great.

Lo' feeble waterhand, witless pilgrim, take the slow path if you cling to life and limb as you have been. Be vigilant in thine travels for pon' statue, paint, and scrawled colored words hold secrets made valuable during ritual. Though oft' refereed as 'water ritual' many a denizen sup not pon' the life waters of you and I, oil, slime, blood and more- all might need be had for proper ritual if friendship with those other you seek. True kin you are, the Templar's ire you have yet wrought, ritual with their like you will find most beneficial if you are truly to. . . Become.

Don't worry too much about being hated by robots, by default they're going to dislike you quite a bit. That said, Truekin have an easier time making friends with them than Mutated Humans, they're real robot whisperers (or yellers actually).

It's funny that you're in a different area from me but basically coming across all of the same problems and events I ran into. The big strong greebled egg robots, shooting your companion by accident, etc. Specifically, I meant that you released this the day after I did all of those things. Didn't run into mushrooms though.

On your current "quest" and your insistence on not using the map travel, there is little chance of you dying any time soon. However, should you stray off the beaten path or even just progress further in the game, there are many ways death will come suddenly and without notice. Even the main quest in this game has notorious difficulty spikes. As for pace, you do you. This episode was thoroughly entertaining. Are you going to beat the game in any of our life times? Unlikely, but it's about the journey as they say.
@Jarli477Күн бұрын
Aecius itchy skin RNG goated. Yeah ur barely moving, thats fine tho. You will die, 100% no chance you live. If this is a one and done COQ series then going about your current pace is fine but you wont get past the surface , maybe you will live longer tho, its kinda RNG if you dont know enemies and areas. Live and drink, and enjoy the ride i suppose.

You could strive for a 50, you're currently at a 15 but it's highly entertaining. Using the autoexplore function more often will help with pacing, as it's really useful for random places you don't care to explore manually but do want to get the goods from.
@DreySabrielКүн бұрын
Loved the episode! I think the current pace is offering up a slightly different experience of Qud than most players have, but thats certainly not a bad thing; the granularity really magnifies the feeling of every errand and hole-in-the-ground aecius stumbles upon to epic proportions in a way thats hilariously entertaining. Idk if other people have already commented on it, but it only seems fair to share the scale of the world map vs the screen; each tile of the world map (which the game calls a “parasang”) represents 9 screens in a 3x3 grid (Hence why you can be in the same tile as a ruin or town on the map, but not see it; I played a LONG time before figuring this out, lol)

I don't know anything about the game but honestly I think at current pace when you reach the stills and do s quest there that is probably a good run for Aceius. You could then start out a new guy that makes more use of the map mechanics.
