Reminds me of Decorah mom, maybe her first year with DM2. She was incubating one night when a little pesky mouse kept running up beside her and she would wing slap until she did didn’t. She had herself a snack.😅

We have a little San Bernardino flying squirrel family that lives beneath the nest in Big Bear. All of the squirrels are named Fiona, unless 2 show up and then the second one is Fast Freddie 🤣🤣🤣 They only show up at night so Jackie only gets blind wing slaps, but she sure pisses off those tiny bandits and they run off squealing in protest when she slaps too close. Lol

Hi LaDoll yes pip watch begins on Jan 11 (that is day 34 for egg #1) Hatches are generally between 34-39 days of incubation for the eggs.
