*Fantastic*, found my error code E71 on my John Lewis JLWD1612 washer dryer. Broken wires to the temperature sensor ntc on the air duct at the front,. Was warned that this might happen by repair man. Two blue wires , they break where they are held on the duct housing . Thank you sooooo much

Thank you very much very helpful, it was showing code E66 and E68 related to heating, we have very hard water so we give it a wash with citric acid [50 grams] to descale the heating element to see if that solves it.

This machine can store up to 3 errorcodes. To see the other errorcodes, go to the 10th position and press the button left to the start/pause button (OK in this case) to see the other 2 errorcodes (if stored)...

Hello, I have this machine and keep getting E10 message in middle of cycles. I’ve checked water inlet and waste pipe but can’t see any issue. Is there anything else that could be causing the issue? Thanks

Thanks Tim great video. Been having problems with the tumble drier (AEG 16850). I have an error E73, which I've reset but it came back, that indicates a problem with a temperature probe/sensor NTC but there are 2 of them, 048 - 3792111415 and 048C - 3792171203. How would I know which one to replace?

Is there a simple HOW TO USE video on this and or the symbols used? I've just moved abroad and it's new to me to have a combination washer dryer (and the manual is also not in English).

Hey Tim. Great video, found my error E43, also meaning thats a door problem. I replaced the door locking system by a new identical part (door relais) and it still keeps giving me the same error. Any idea? Thanks
@user-tim1005 жыл бұрын
Could be wiring fault or module have had them blow the tracks on the board. U have got the door shut when putting it into error mode as well or it will throw up the error code for the Door

Sorry not sure have not tried to do it on this machine

@@user-tim100 I remember it now - I also found this for the record Switch off the appliance. 2. Press the START/PAUSE and the P5 button simultaneously 3. Holding the buttons down, switch on the appliance turning the programme selector of five positions clockwise. 4. Hold the buttons down till the LCD shows “WORKED HOURS” (at least 5 seconds) and the display shows the number of the working hours of the appliance.

Heating element, scale build up scale possible, reset code[s] as in video then run a wash on 60 with citric acid [50grams] to descale it, has worked for us, we had in past 3 times the heating element replaced during warranty, last engineer told us to descale regular each month [depending on usage]
