Titan Attraction is an ability exclusive to the Female Titan. Reiner just roared to get Bertolt's attention, it was the Scouts that assumed he was calling for Titans. Those 2 sitting there are just randoms.

19:03 not only that, even when he was just a child he would always move ahead and afar from them just by the virtue of beeing how he is and them by virtue of being who they are; they chase him wherever he goes until they catch him for a brief period of time and he ends up being away again, tho it seems like lately it's been less of him running on his own and more of him getting taken (not that he wouldn't chase them on his own if everyone but him were knocked out)

This is something I forgot a lot, but Titans arent supposed to be able to move at night (normal ones at least) Meaning when Hanji says they have until nightfall, Reiner and Bertholdt wont be able to make a move until nightfall when they can be safe from titans

You may have figured it out by now but, his name is Bertholdt. Think of the pronunciation by separating the 2 halves: "BERT---HOLDT". Or if this is easier: "BUR-TOLT". That's one of the benefits of the dub. You get all these European names pronounced properly. 😛 It seems like it might be a good idea for you to switch back to the dub. It would certainly make it easier for you to take in the dialogue and the music at the same time. 😆
