Fun bat rep. Lots of violence. Did I miss something at the start of Round 2? Is there a reason why Corvus didn’t use his “Husband of Proxima Midnight” to have her activate after him? She would have likely dazed Valkyrie (dice rolls aside) thereby saving all that damage she did to Black Swan (dazing her in the process). For sure, there’s a lot of triggers in the game and I know you guys are always playing new lists/combo’s, so no biggie. Just seeing if I missed something.

If I recall, there was a range thing with it, along with Troope having a plan of his own. I cannot quite recall, though

Honestly, it may have been better to go Beta Ray Bill instead of Loki for more consistent damage and damage reduction. Also, brother in arms could be good for more powerful energy attacks while preventing Shuri from pushing you off the point. Also, Beta is immune to a lot of the special conditions that Black Order gives out, being immune to Poison, Bleed, and Incinerate. The only problem is that I don’t know how much Loki was saving the team’s butts by rooting and preventing crits from exploding. That could’ve been the deciding factor. 1 more thing, Skurge maybe better over Valkyrie. Providing extra protection to Loki to mitigate some of the damage. Similar to what happened in the game, each time I play her, she dies almost immediately. Skurge however, has been MVP or near MVP each time I play Asgard. It was a great game

That is the fun part, right. Always interesting to think how different characters could have impacted the game. I admit, we do not always build competitive lists, sometimes just wanting to get some less loved characters on the table. That can sometimes lead us to shy away from more meta picks, like Beta Ray.

Brace is so room temp IQ at this point in the game and needs to be rotated out.

That is certainly one direction. I personally think it should become unrestricted, as I feel it has lost a lot of its power, due to the sheer volume of throws available these days. At the very least, It probably would not suffer from becoming a bit more expensive
