I played trombone in her band during a two-week tour in the spring of 1972. I was 20 years old. Patti was 44 at the time. The guys in the band loved her. She was one of us. She used to spend time with us in the band bus sharing drinks and stories after many of our gigs. Patti was a gem!

Tom Snyder was one of the best! I wish that there were more episodes of this show. I watched it night after night. No one conducts interviews like Snyder, Paar or Cavett.

I cannot get enough of Tom Snyder. Sure he had his goofy and/or confrontational moments but he knew how to converse and allow his guests to speak. He was also sinfully handsome.

I’ve lived here in Oklahoma all my life and drive down Pattie Page Blv. all the time. I’ve never known what poke salad greens are; always wondered.

Anyone else here fond of sand dunes and salty air? Or quaint little villages here and there?
