AEM Infinity Lambda control and tuning

Wondered how to set up the PID for the lambda control (wideband) in an Infinity. watch this and see one ear you can do it.

Any idea why my LambdaTarget value is 2 full AFR points below that specified in the actual table ? ( all 4 tables are same ). I Hate AEM

so you have 1 knock sensor per cylinder?

While some cars have multiple sensors, the Infinity will break up the knock value based on crank degrees where that particular cylinder has fired. This time around I have one Bosch knock sensor in the factory location.

There are 4 different target lambda tables in aem, i couldnt find any option in setup wizard to make use of them or find when they can be applied. As opposed to LINK g4 platform you can clearly apply lambda overlay tables and use them in different strategies.

@@AaronONeal1 thanks for considering it. I'm really curious how a modern VE ECU treats primarily Alpha N based load tables. Infinity is the platform I'm learning so I'm biased towards that but I'm sure the concepts on the Elite is the same?

@@RyuMoto it occured to me I did an R33 not too long ago. I don't have any NA specific ITB tuning but I did tune that alpha N with "boost comp" for the fuel model. Timing is still vs MAP.

Random question which is best hp tuners or infinity tuner

HP Tuners just uses the stock ECU for some applications. An Infinity is a complete replacement and far more powerful tool but is also more involved in tuning and installation.
