you can deploy complete project using this command on author mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage make sure your author is running on port 4502. Please see README.md file in your project for commands in details.

Yes, These are static templates. There are tutorials available for editable template over channel.

Inside aem geeks sites, I have created pages. But when i open that pages in editor mode only your given default components are visible. How can i add it my custom created components in layout container policy ?, There are no edit temple options are there in editor of page.

This project use both static template and editable template. you are using static template. For static template. ->Go to design mode. ->Add components/group to required parsys.

These properties still work on both AEMaaCS and AEM6.5. Also these properties works with both types of templates. Please let me know scenario, where these are not working. I will verify and confirm.

You can create nodes to add component in template. So when you will be creating pages using this template, These components will be available over page.

In case of static template, you should create templates manually/crx/de. Incase of editable template, you will have an option to create template. Where are you checking template create option. Could you please explain bit more.
