Searching for other bastard Targaryens’ as dragon riders was a brilliant idea. The only problem with that is, you can’t trust that type of power with just anyone. How do you decide whose interest aligns with yours and whose do not? Dragons are basically equivalent to nuclear weapons in that day. As always, great reaction! 😊

The large dragon that Daemond approached in the caverns is Vermithor, the second largest and second oldest dragon. He was previously ridden by King Jaeherys The Concilliator. You'll be seeing more of him soon.

Aahhh, y'all are the FIRST reactors I've seen who put forward the notion that Daemon was singing to Vermithor to prime him for future dragonbonding - that is EXACTLY what the purpose of that scene was! I have a very strong feeling that Vermithor was the dragon Rhaena tried and failed to tame, since Daemon looks directly at her after mentioning Vermithor and Silverwing specifically.

Alicent is crazy for putting her name forward, she would be a terrible regent, all she'd do is send letters to Rhaenyra asking for peace. Cole's right, Alicent would never agree to anything that won them the war but resulted in death to Rhaenyra.

aemond always said he was more prepared but in reality he is not. aegon is better than him as king because at least aegon listens to the green council and wanted the best for his people like in episode 1 but the death of his son was what led him to make impulsive decisions and his mother unprotected him and blamed him every second even though he never wanted to be king that led him to make a suicidal decision. on the other hand aemond is a super young guy with the biggest dragon but he is impulsive and a bit dumb because the greens have less dragons he hurt sunfyre so his team is now at a big disadvantage. aemond is a good warrior but as a king he doesn't work because of his madness. In conclusion aemond is more suited to be a warrior not a king
