This video was a blast. I actually watched it twice, once with and once without the subtitles. Without gave me creepy vibes, like something out of an Alien movie. Your acting, that serious focus added to the vibe, like I was an insect you were inspecting. Then the subtitles were great! I had a high school English teacher named Ms. Crouthamel who had the most wicked sense of humor. She had a lot of plants in her classroom. Over the door was a sign “Crouthamel’s Nursery” but she never would admit if “nursery” referred to the plants or us kids. 😂 she also had a special plant. A Dieffenbachia. Also known as a dumb cane. If you did something she considered especially egregious, you got a leaf named after you. While that sounds cruel by today’s standards, it was all in fun and actually a point of pride for some of us. Her humor aside, she was the best teacher I ever had. She inspired me and pushed me and gently lead me to be better at everything. The biggest lesson I learned from her wasn’t in any English book, it was this - it is possible for someone to be disappointed FOR me without being disappointed IN me. Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane. Love your videos. Keep up the great work. Your RPs are the best.

i have a similar story to yours about the "¯\_(ツ)_/¯" kaomoji. so, back in high school, i had this one teacher who taught pre-calculus class. he was WAY too qualified for his job, seriously. he was so smart and should've been working anywhere else but a high school (doing something with rockets, idk). like i said, he was really smart, but a horrible teacher. he just didn't know how to dumb things down to a level our little brains could reach, and that (plus my built-in inability to do math) made for a deadly combo. sooo, on one of his tests, i just couldn't answer a question (or more), and i knew that i wouldn't be able to fake an answer or guess bc they were all "show your work, no multiple choice" exams. so, i just drew an anime girl who was gently poking fun at the math problem on it. unfortunately, i didn't get anything for my efforts - no small bonus points for creativity, no nothing, just a test with a bad grade on it. i was a little embarrassed, but overall, i thought it was funny, and that's what mattered to me. also, to give context on how bad of a teacher he was, a student asked a question about how he got to one step to another, and no joke, my teacher responded: "it's like magic," and then moved on. anyways, shout out to one of my friends who was a GODSEND in that class. i guarantee she made the difference between passing or failing the class for me. LMFAO this clearly answers your question: yes, people were watching the subtitles, and no, you weren't just talking into the void. fr tho, great video :D

Zero understanding for the fact that we were learning something for the first time that she had studied and taught for like 40 years 😭 And whenever we all did bad on a test she'd get angry and say things like "If you don't get something when I teach it, just ask!", but whenever we did, her response was "I JUST explained that, why didn't you listen?" or "Those are basics you learned last year!". It was so frustrating it gave me nightmares and constant anxiety for any day we had maths class. But just like you I was extremely lucky to have a girl in my class who helped me pretty much every week. I have no idea what I would've done without her 🫠

Honestly, I think you're underselling your craft skills, that costume is amazing. I really wanna see the whole headcrest thing you made, in the brief moments when it was fully on screen at the end of the video it looked really cool! (Also if you're still putting that druid bark armor together, the scutes off of palm trees make some pretty cool-looking natural armor plate shapes, if you have any around you)

10:08 YES. Also I absolutely agree with having good teachers. Our year somehow ended up with a bunch of really good ones for the end of high school and like at least 5 or 6 seniors out of 40 in a small country school obliterated the final tests and got 98-99th percentile scores for university entrance. More limbs? Well, if attached properly and functional - i don't mind. 6:06 of subtitles - at some point? No, no, no. Not "at some point". Rather - right away. That's why I can't get my vids done on the other channel. Can't stand my voice in general and especially when recorded. Recording is pretty darn daunting and editing afterwards is next to impossible BTW - I wonder if the actual alien language/communication attempt isn't actually portrayed when our space surgeon touches them spikey thingies (ex. around 16 minute mark) and the reason why I receive extra appendages is to make me more susceptible to that " communication spectrum". And made up words are just my brain's failed attempts to translate incoming stimuli from new organs to something more familiar. Hmmm, pheromone message perhaps?

I never cared for green/blue/purple skin it seems unrealistic to me. I feel an alien would have similar skin tones or greyish variations. If not some sorta camouflage scheme like a snake or tiger. Or even if they evolved past that would still have a residual pattern in their genes

As for body structure theres no way of telling. A planet with slightly heavier gravity would make life look like dwarfs shorter but stocky or big muscled things. A pla et with lighter gravity would make things probably bit more slim and lanky and taller. While a a world with HEAVY gravity would make things probably more insectiod crawling on the ground with stocky builds or again just abig musclebound thing like the monster in the pit at jaba the huts fall pit. Or uhh what the called the big reptile things in mass effect that the frog looking people made the genophage to keep their population in check? A world with very light gravity would probably give us something like the komitians that made the clones. Although i think humaniod structure is fairly unlikely. Although i think mass effect did a gairly decent job making believeable aliens. I essentially like the jellyfish people and those lumbering blocks? Blobs? things that are so big and came from a world so heavy they talk through minute movements Like starwars mustafar could have a lava monster thing that breaths sulfer and is more or less madeof magma for all we know. Our belief of we are gods perfect creation makes us arrogantly biased to what life should be. Fungus on earth is a very controlling lifeform mycelium has roots going DEEP into the earth and literally controls which trees in a forest die or noy

This goes exceedingly beyond a everyday typical ASMR video. This truly and unequivocally feels, looks, and sounds.....OTHERWORDLY. The sheer otherness of what I'm cautiously assuming is a.....ASMR video is undoubtedly inconceivable. Even you, that armor, your face, the unknown language, the _stasis_ stares.
