39:30 when you cast another player's Ignite, YOU put the charge on an ally because YOU cast the spell. In other words the person casting Ignite (from anywhere) never gets a charge from it.

Tom, thanks for the playthrough (and your first impressions) on this one. My wife and I play a lot of Deck Building games these days (Dominion, Star Realms, etc...) and this one seems to be really, really interesting ;) ... Oh, and the turn order deck appears to be a really cool way to add more tension to the game!!!

Awesome run-through. One of the more interesting deck builders. Certainly answered some of the questions A friend of mine had. He played dominion quite a lot and thought that we had to discard cards not used. I'm glad I mentioned the correct way as you draw up to 5 cards. I like how the market is random. Haven't yet seen some of the spells and relics you had there. Looking forward to the expansions for even more variety in market. I do however hope there are more basic nemesis cards in each tier. As of now I've seen lots of the same cards in the nemesis deck other than the cards for the nemesis themselves.

45:35 You forgot to draw Nemesis card (just dealt 2 damage to Graveholm and removed power token from Blood Cry). Not that it would matter much, I hope (I don't remember whether Ragebourne deck has minions which prevent damage to Ragebourne until you defeat minion - such minion would have hindered you progress).

Is it possible in a two-player game for the boss to take 4 turns in a row? For example, if the last two cards are for the boss, and then you shuffle the deck and the first two cards drawn are also for the boss?

Around 19:24, how does the spark each deal 3 damage? Where did the first 3 damage to Rageborne come from? The second one used to kill the provoker is buffed by the relic but the initial spark only dealt one damage. I am fairly new to the game, I'm still trying to get a handle on how everything resolves. Thank you.

A little late here since only now I'am discovering this game. He did 1 dmg with the spark to the Nemesis and with the other spark he deals 1+2 ( blasting staff) to the minion. What happened was he decided to re-do his play since he could kill the minion and not waste 1 dmg(since you can't split dmg from a spell).

Everything resets and you can go on to play any other nameless unless you’re playing one of the more recent boxes which have optional campaigns 🙂

Yeah there are a lot of expansions, and some of the big box ones starting from The New Age I think included an optional campaign with a story to play through, as well as the usual way of mixing up whatever you like

The order of the turns is random. Now, let's say we are playing with 2 players, like you did in the video. Is it possible for the nameless to have their turn 4 times in a row? If his two turns are last, and then when you shuffle again, the 2 first card are the nameless turn. is the make sens?

Around 39:30 when you use your ability to cast his spell, are you the "ally" then or is he? I could see an argument either way, you're the one casting, but it's his spell...

Good point, I think the rules say you treat the spell as if you are casting it yourself, so in this case Marty should get the charges. I'll add a note

@@yuarthur455 We rarely get to go back to games these days because I need to keep playing new ones for the videos :) having said that, we've gone back to Aeon's End more than most - partly because War Eternal, and now Legacy have come out and they need videos too! I don't want to say if you should buy, but if you do and you enjoy it there's a lot to keep you occupied

slickerdrips I think you had cast it from Mary's second breach, which is a III breach because he doesn't have a I one, so it has +1 damage so the sparks you cast were a 1 damage one and a 2 damage one.
