Extremely unlikely sadly, as much as I'd love another part of the franchise where part 1 is my favorite game of all time, but part 2 has a semi-solid ending and aftermath where all of the ultimate satanic evil forces that drove the world into agony are completely vanquished, and moreover, Dracula himself calms his spirit down after containing within himself basically all the greatest forces of evil remaining in the world from Lords of Shadow/Forgotten One, but refusing to use them to cause destruction and pointless deaths like he used to when his rage overwhelmed him and he could not control them. The Brotherhood of Light was also destroyed in a fit of revenge by Dracula, and being honest, for the better, since they played a major role in the first game by creating the Lords of Shadow in the first place, and then betraying Gabriel, leaving him to a sad fate as a janitor and scape goat to clean the messy consequences of their actions and later lose his humanity to end the threat of the Forgotten One. But as we see, Dracula is not actually purely evil like Satan who just hates everything including God, he had ultimately noble goals and completed them all, ultimately being the necessery lesser evil to stop the apocalypse 3 times, even though yes, many innocent lives were sacrificed in the process. So in the end, Dracula restores the Equilibrium of good and evil in part 1, becomes the most powerful being on earth, and refuses to destroy it, allowing the people to finally live in relative peace.

These 2.5 LOS (yès for many, Mirror is more a explain entract between I and II) so these 3 games are wonderful, great in their artistic direction, soundtrack, tragic dramatic Story, their caracters so charismatic all of. It's a real pleasure to play with and get these in our eyes !!

filthy critics that will never create ANYTHING anyway near as Good is true that everything about this beauty is not perfect and like everything else that exist, it has it's flaws but a lot of the unfair blind backlash can just go and get fucked in hell a long with them my only real personal complaint was the ending feeling rushed and that it could have been much more but this is still a great Castlevania experience for what it was i love Lords of shadow most of the critics are just not even true Castlevania lovers

It's a flawed game for sure, but definitely a hidden gem. Too much was made of the "awful stealth" sections, when it's really like less than 5% of the game. At it's best this game is SOTN 3d, and the combat is always great.

This game was fantastic ... all the trilogy was; I played this on PS3 way after finishing it until the enemies stopped respawning and I was all alone in the city. Hope it gets a remaster, remake or conclusion someday.

When I bought my PS3 this wonderful game came into the console's memory. The soundtrack while facing off against GORGON and CARMILLA is amazing. The first CASTLEVANIA in physical media took me a little more than 2 years to find and buy here in my city and I think it's wonderful too, although it's more difficult than the second game. CASTLEVANIA is a classic game and the management of the company that should have made a new version think more about money than making a great game for the franchise to never die.

The story was certainly not better than LOS1 but the overall game and combat was improved. I feel very sad that "awful stealh" was the reason why this game flopped, when each section was like 5 min or less and doest represent 3% of the game. Purchased as a pre-order and still think was worth :)

feel bad that i didn't found this uploads right away my good sir i do adore this Castlevania, honestly i found it's combat even a bit more fun than the original masterpiece of LOS i just really love it's overall badass Gothic style, the music, combat, dash mechanics and it's open world metroidvania aspects only thing i honestly feel they dropped the ball a little bit it was towards the ending it just obvious that it was rushed beyond believe and i feel the ending of this saga will always deerve much more but still i say is a great game for what it was the whole LOS Saga is just pure Gothic Art and despite not been exactly the same original timeline of Castlevania, LOS to me will always be true to the heart of Castlevania in so many ways thank you for doing this and also to play it like a Belmont should is important to show to the world that is always possible to do perfect runs in this games also as a way to show how very well design a game is if you played right. i would love to bring a full in-depth type of series of this saga to the channel someday like paladin mode with no upgrades will be great but with full exploration and story driving elements to it i have done play lists for Castlevania games such Simon's Quest, CV3,CV4 etc most of this as a No damage- no hit series but i will love to do same treatment for all the 3DVANIAS since i always had huge appreciation for all 3Dimentional Vania games and huge love for Lords of shadow saga despite the flaws

Are you sure this is on the prince of darkness level? On prince of darkness level inner Dracula creates a spinning tornado of blood that sucks the life energy of the player, and the best way to dodge is to make circles around the inner Dracula by being so close to it and you have one second to related between the recostrctings of blood sucking power of the inner dracula the best way is to hit it with chaos fire ball and then when it starts to spit blood you can hit it with blood whip and win the boos fight it took forty minutes for me to accomplish this first time, I believe this Lord of the shadow difficulty not prince of darkness difficulty
