Paper Doll Militia Aerial ABC's highlights a commonly used maneuver in aerial arts, and breaks it down addressing form, function, body mechanics, proper muscle engagement, efficiency and progressions of the move. Working with an instructor in person is the safest and most effective way to learn aerial arts and we suggest that you seek out a qualified instructor whenever possible.These videos are intended to serve as reference and supplemental information. They are in response to the amount of "trick" learning happens from youtube videos, instructional dvd's, online tutorials, and books. The Aerial ABC's are not designed to teach tricks, rather to fill in some fundamental information behind the tricks. Please comment if you found this information useful!
A note about safety, even when doing simple exercises you should never train alone. You should always be using equipment that is approved and rigged by circus professionals, the most ideal place to practice the material in these videos is in your local aerial studio during open practice time.
