This new residential areas in China are great. I love the urban design with greenery, bridges, shopping and recreational facilities all in one area.

Awesome Nansha. Went in 2016 when the metro was still being built. A lot has changed since then . The train looks very nice with good views

This is Jiaomen, the best part in Nansha, where I lived for 6 months in 2022. It's a clean and somewhat beautiful town. Shoutout to the new library (by the river). It has a good amout of English books. Another area to visit is Lingshan island, 30m bike away from the river, a supposed financial district. 3:49 at the top

Nansha seems sterile and it has the prisonlike asthetic of an American development. Are all of the occupants forced to commute? Usually I find Chinese cities and towns to be captivating, but this district looks like a mega scale rendition of suburban sprawl.
