To vanish on Standard is X▫️same time You can change the direction of it with the left stick If you don’t hold a direction, you’ll appear behind them- which they can Block+perception But most of the time you get em with the back shots

I don’t like trying to use the O “melee vanish” ability to set up a combo because every time you do that the opponent has the ability to press O and teleport behind you. And the timing is extremely easy. It’s basically a given

I use a different aerial flank. Tp backwards, then descned, dash, and left analog quarter circle from from side to forward. This is just a dash flank rather than a dd flank and it combo great into ki blasts for a combo starter. Check out senju in Japan, he has a great video on some shmoovement

I can tell you right now that if I know someone is side stepping a lot I'll back step to counter it. Any additional option helps. Like near point blank dragon rush already can throw people off.

Why can’t it be done on standard? If R1 and R2 are ascend and descend on CLASSIC. STANDARD- L1 and L2 are the same. Hence it should be possible just inputs on the other side of the controller. Is it a bug that doesn’t allow the tech?

Besides this movement tech, I haven’t seen classic with any advantages over standard. Honestly, standard is better to play over classic because it’s easier to use. It’s really about personal preference.

Yes there is, you have more overall control of your character. Although classic is “harder” because you have to be more specific with your inputs, the button layout naturally gives you more options to use tech whereas in standard you can play just fine but you won’t be able to do all the advanced stuff. In the end of the day it doesn’t really matter if you’re not tryna play competitively, it’s just a preference thing from there.

Yes it does matter it's insanely hard to z counter when you are punching someone in the back that's where you get your legit combos go to the lab and practice or I suggest you take this tutorial and learn from it
