That's astounding, the plane fell on a narrow corridor avoiding all of the houses. There are videos where the people in those houses described the moment the plane came crashing, they were in shock, some still crying hours after the disaster.

I wonder what’s gonna happen to the people living in that community. It looks an expensive one but how do you move on from something like this. Sadly this place has become a graveyard. I hope the departed souls rest in peace.

Time passes, people rebuild, I mean this is nowhere near the worst "plane crashes in to community" disaster, I mean did anyone actually die on the ground here? PanAm 103 wiped out two streets filled with families when it fell on Lockerbie, then there was that tower block in Amsterdam that had a hole punched in it when a plane crashed in to it.

Im Brazilian there isn’t much to be told , it’s winter now in Brazil and the region in which the plane crashed is cold (not as cold as the southern states, in which there are snow , but it’s nonetheless) and the antifreeze mechanism on the wings failed , causing loss of lift . The authorities have unveiled that the plane involved in the crash had troubles with the antifreeze mechanism back in the last year but it was fixed . The airline Voepass has even resumed the same route with the same aircraft type (ATR 72). Unfortunately these things happen , planes are safe but lack of maintenance will eventually lead to a hull loss , happens all the time , that’s the problem with small and cheaper companies .

Why suspicious? They were going to a Cancer congress in São Paulo. They were probably oncologists from Cascavel main hospital as well as smaller hospitals from around Cascavel. The airplane was full so it makes sense some changed flights.

All the ground data points to icing being the cause. There was even an ice warning that day at low altitude, because of a cold front, so why this flight went through it is a bit of a mystery. This class of aircraft is susceptible to icing in certain weather conditions.

Those narrow and small wings on these ATR airplanes will increase the potential for change in the low pressure air dynamic on the upper side of the wings when icing occurs, this creates to high levels of low pressure over the ailerons and flaps. What happens then is that this increased level of low pressure initiates or sucks the ailerons and flaps upwards, this leads to loss of control for the airplane! Other high wing 2 engine prop planes like Bombardier/De-Havilland Dash/DHC 6,7 and 8 planes with much wider and longer wings does not have this problems in icing conditions. Everybody within the aviation industry knows that the ATR`s have this problem! Less wing area will tolerate less ice in other words ! These ATR planes was banned by pilots in the USA at one point because of this!

All of the occupants are fatalities. even though the cockpit windows are intact the entire bottom section of the cockpit where the pilot seats were attached to is flattened.

Nope, the engines were running right up to impact. Icing is the most likely cause.

It had stalled and was in a flat spin, something it is practically impossible to recover this type of aircraft from (I won't bore you with the physics). Why it stalled is going to be the cause of the crash. Right now, icing seems to be the likely cause.

I’m from Brazil, but living in the UK and what I know is: yes, there were some cancer doctors in the flight but I dont know the other information about find cancer cure or prevention.
