For me, the easiest is the Tomcat, by far. I am using the Thrustmaster HOTAS bundle. Stick, throttle and pedals are in one box. $250 I think. The spring on the stick is very stiff with no way of adjustment. The throttle isn't too shabby, but the pedals are the slider type, not the push/pull that are in real aircraft. Fine movement control is almost impossible, and I've played with the curves till the cows came home and it helps slightly. But with that said, the most difficult for me is the Viper. So twitchy and so fast and light, you're like a one armed paper hanger. Constantly in motion.

I have all jets listed above and the Mirage 2000C is definitely the easiest to control while refueling.

For me personally, it's the Hornet
@RaptorRising2 ай бұрын
@@Thunder1-1DannyBee definitely very straightforward in the Hornet, it's an absolute pleasure to tank in

Looks like you were tanking with the kc135 at top speed with the f14. You made it unnecessarily more difficult
@RaptorRising2 ай бұрын
I've never had great luck in the Tomcat at any rate, but what is the optimal speed for tanking?
@ACG_Jaydog2 ай бұрын
I think the F-16 is easiest personally, although I haven't tried it in many aircraft outside of the F-14, F-18, F-4 and A-4

@ACG_Jaydog F-16 is great. You just sit there and let the boom do the hard work!

I think the f18 is easier, I feel like I haven’t done much practice refueling in it, and I can just stay connected all the time.

Too bad the m2000 is horrible when it comes to radar and aerial armament
@calvinmulraine7362 ай бұрын
M2000 had the best radar in the sim not too long ago. What happened?
@RaptorRising2 ай бұрын
@vincentvalerio915 it's definitely dated, but it holds its ground pretty well in late 80s/early 90s scenarios.
@RaptorRising2 ай бұрын
@@calvinmulraine736 it has the best SIMULATED radar in the sim, but it's not as good a radar as say the Eagle's radar in terms of real life capabilities
