What a great overview of the area. Really beautiful scenery. The only thing I'd like more is if the video stayed on each place a bit longer- it's hard to read the place names and see the views. I found I had to keep pausing the video.

For the 6 weeks known as the "Summer Holidays" Yep! Packed, campsites fully booked etc. Rest of the year is quieter, April-mid July is mainly couples tourists although you will get the odd family. Mid July - end of August PACKED CHOCKA with families. Traffic queues galore and parking is a nightmare!! It dies off again through September and spesh by October.

'Tis a shame but that's how the world goes these days. When we first lived here nearly 49 years ago just outside Padstow, it was still full of local born folk. Lovely village with local pride. Over the last 20 years it has been a building site. Houses purchased for silly money then knocked down and then a rebuild. Second home owners who just want to rip out hedges, cut down trees just to provide parking for paying guests. Sad for us but much worse for our local born friends.

Think I how I have to feel as I live there. The video was just a tour of beaches in Cornwall and only showed one town that is not by the sea which was Camborne and Redruth(Go redruth). Did you try Truro(capital of Cornwall) they are just a massive town with a whole load of shops.

Valsulgurth Yep ! I went to Truro and perranporth. I went with my family for a week , the weather was horrible and yea like you said it was just a little town with loads of shops! The people are really nice though , but it isn't my cup of tea in terms of holidays. Maybe if I go again it will go to Redruth ;)
@lovate6262
@lovate6262 9 жыл бұрын
Redruth is mostly known from the main road that goes through but there is suppose to be a museum being built there, there is not a lot unless you count the walks around the mines and the great flat load and carn Marth, maybe gwennap pit. But you need the good weather for them and we had snow this morning. I would suggest going to Spain but I'd rather go to France.
