I used to read while driving all the time. Before I got a smart phone I was just holding a book in one hand the whole trip lol. Look down, get a few sentences in your mind, look back at the road, get a few more sentences. It made driving much more pleasant. I read almost all of the ASOIAF books while driving. I started singing a few weeks into my guitar learning journey. It is difficult as hell at first but once you figure out a song or two the others just sort of fall in line. It helps dramatically if you know the lyrics and melody of the song inside and out. Nirvana songs id sung in the car a millions just flowed out once I learned the chords. One song still giving me serious trouble is “star shopping” by lil peep. I can sing it, I can play it. But trying to mix the two just don’t work yet. I will get it though. Oh yes

At 13 I heard the Amon Amarth version. When I got into System of a Down, I found out about the original version. SOAD have some of the most deep lyrics that I ever encountered, on par with Chris Cornell. I like the Amon Amarth version more than the original, however, the band was definitely not ready to put together this caliber of lyricism in my opinion. Endless Ocean was the most touching song they wrote in my opinion. This is a beautiful cover.
