Dang Son, looking Good, and that RIDE looks ASS-SWEET! And that IT shize is off the charts!! Is there any other "TEAM" like yours doing the same to like say: Hayden Wilde, the Brit guy Alex Yee?, or the French dudes, that have the added pressure to Perform on their home Turf? Dang! 51 seconds Saved! Amazing!!!! All the best! Your thoughts on freaking PTO and IM fu--king things up with all the Pros being selective as to where they race, now you no longer are seeing all the BEST races at any single event, this is evident with Oceanside 70.3 yesterday 06Apr24, where freaking 2 of the worst swimmers in the League come in First, and Second. totally evident that the field was NOT "STACKED" yet the PTO and IM media and others are stating that they are "Stacked". EEHHHH, I don't think so!!!!!! GG!

for a solo ride maybe, dynamics and wind in a peloton are a diff game. wonder if this is relevant for ahort course. just stay in the pack.

Are they taking drafting with 30 boys in consideration??
@kristian.blummenfelt6 ай бұрын
Someone needs to lead that pack too… and by being more aero it’s less drafting for the guys behind 😉

Sure thing. But this wasn’t my question. 52s when you are alone on the course supposedly?

I think this CDA is without the drag from the bike as the censors is separating me from the bike. While when you test in a wind tunnel the force plate is underneath the bike

I understand the aerodynamics in Ironman-cycling but in the olympic-distance, since they are (most propably) riding in a group, I doubt there is much benefit for the athlete.
@oliverbravo26886 ай бұрын
From my experience in draft legal racing, this is not true. Riding in the front of the pack, closing gaps, etc. you are definiteley benefiting from aero gains.
@a.g.j.potman43676 ай бұрын
This is about marginal gains, it is all about energy Saving for the run
@kristian.blummenfelt6 ай бұрын
It’s obviously more important in Ironman and non drafting races, but it’s also those details that can make it or brake it in Paris. Let’s say I’m doing 15-20% of the work in a chase pack it’s still plenty of time in the front. And if that is enough to go 3-4 sec per lap faster it can be the difference to come off the bike with the leaders or not

@@kristian.blummenfelt Dang son that's way too much math for me to figure out! All the Best! I can see you already grabbing a second Gold medal in Paris!! Woohoo!!!!!! GG!

You know what, sometimes one can be blinded by science and the obssession to data/charts and graphs. As my late mother once said "trust your gut, it will never fail you".

I think the results speak for themselves
@marcusmaher-triskellionfil51586 ай бұрын
@@Slow.Smooth Well, sorry but the idea in Olympic triathlon there are "gains" to be had is absurd. Thing is KB is starting to become a 'meme' to what Team Sky became, this marginal gains guff, which turned out to be something far more nefarious. Trusting the science, data, and doctors is not a good look if I'm honest, the "Norwegian method" is just that, tbh I rather see a triathlete win on guts, determination and instinct than relying on a computer to tell me when to go.
