The book in area zero always had that journal entry, it is just a time loop hinting to the fact this event happened during their research into area zero. The Journal entry also services as a hint to witness the event. Kieran also drops out of the League so Crispin gets to stay.

i doubt the Clay and Elesa connection is actually confirmed or intended. for starters Elesa never used Minun and Plusle to begin with. i think the game just used those to introduce the concept of double battles being a mainstay in BB Academy and because we know Lacey likes cute pokemon. furthermore Cyrano omitting Elesa also being a relative to Lacey doesn't feel right and maybe it's just me but Elesa seems too young to be Lacey's mom.

Well I am also doubting this. I don't think she is too young, because for all we know, this might be 10 years after Unova Games, 12 years after BW. Lacey is probably around... 16 or so going by the fact that this is Unova and says she is a 2nd year, which likely is going by High School for USA. And Elesa is probably around 24 to 28 in BW, making her 38 to 40 which is about normal.

Just a correction, the note about the kid giving the white volume in the cave is not an update. I have been in the cave before triggering the cutscene at the lake and the not was already there. I found it creepy, i thought it was the first discover of terapagos writing that and the part of the kid was uncanny lol

Something I would’ve loved to see could’ve been a refference to the subway boss we meet in Legends Arceus. It would’ve been cool to see a news article or something talking about Ingo’s desappearance. Or since the next game will most likely be a futuristic Unova game they could’ve put a reference talking about the desappearance of both subway bosses meaning Ingo went to the past and hinting that Emmet went to the future and we will likely meet him in the next game.

Most likely after gen 10, so after PLZ. Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but the only major remakes they make are once the original generation's number doubles, so gen 4 for gen 2, gen 6 for gen 3, gen 8 for gen 4, and probably, gen 10 for gen 5.

Regarding Kieran being the strongest trainer in any Pokemon game. He's actually barely edged out by 1 other trainer added in this DLC. You can unlock the ability to battle Cyrano, and his team consists of 3 lvl 86 and 3 lvl 87 pokemon, giving him a higher average team level than Kieran

Crispin just hasn't heard the news yet. If you talk to Drayton, he tells you that Kieran dropped out of league club rankings after he lost to you, so he isn't actually going to be displacing anyone at all! Happy all around, except for poor Kieran

Recently in the franchise, relatives or ancestors of some character have at least something that resembles said character (like Perrin and Adaman), which is not the case for Lacey in regards of Elesa, so I doubt it. Plus, Plusle and Minun perfectly fit the concept of double battles, which is the keystone of the battles in the BB League. Oh, and Nimbasa is close to Driftveil, so it may just hint at Clay living in a place different to his workplace.

Some easter eggs that i found was when Drayton says "Yo, Champ in the making" which is the same thing that an NPC used to say in the older games before you started a gym, like in red and blue, and how Kieran's and Carmine's hair looks like Sylveon ribbons. Also i believe the "Be still my left hand" emote that was show is what i believe to be a reference to Gladion from the Sun and Moon games, it about the same animation that plays when you start a battle with him.

It’s not confirmed, at all, that Lacey is Elesa’s daughter. For starters, Lacey has been stated to be the daughter of ONE of the gym leaders by director Cyrano. And if she was the daughter of two of the gym leaders, why would one get talked about more than the other? Also Elesa, despite having red and blue in her color scheme, has never been seen using Plusle and Minun before. Lacey herself state she was using a “plus and minus strategy” in reference to their abilities being used in double battles, likely to demonstrate that double battles are used in Blueberry Academy. As for the Nimbasa City connection, Lacey doesn’t have to live in the same city Clay works in. It’s like how the Gen 3 protagonist doesn’t live in the same city Norman work in. (But hey, look on the bright side. At least Elesa is still single.)

I had more trouble battling Drayton than I did with Kieran. I lost on my first attempt with Drayton which was my first loss in Pokemon Violet completely, so I swapped out my two lead Pokemon with my 3rd and 4th, and tried again and won. It took me all of 2 minutes at maximum to beat Keiran. These games are nowhere near as difficult as they were several years ago, that or I'm just not as terrible as I used to be.

Great video, although you did get a few things wrong: Although Crispin does say that initially, he later mentions that the league positions are frozen so he'll be staying in the elite 4! The goggles are a refrence to the ultra recon squad not the flare admins (can see the resemblance though) And as everyone else has said Keiran is strong but not the strongest! The original theory wound up based on misinformation. As you say, there would've been more emphasis if Lacey had two Unova gym leaders for parents, and while I can see why people would presume, the lack of more obvious facets (i.e giving her an Emolga/Blitzle, etc) doesn't point to Elesa in my view.

I learned something when you Teraestalize your Pokémon into the Stellar Tera Type you still keep your original typing but get stab on all of your moves. I learn that from 2 different experiments. First of battle against the Stellar Tera Pokémon had the same weakness as it's original type and when I was about to Stellar Terasalize my Annilape into it I looked at all of it's moves and it had all of them act as stab.
