I was waiting for the aerobatics? That was just a typical flight in a gyro....well done by a confident pilot in a nice machine I might add. I have to laugh tho, such an expensive machine with all the gadgets and instruments..... but still has the piece of wool as a yaw indicator.... believe it or not, that little piece of wool can be a real life saver and the only time it can let you down is if it blows off.... nice vid

Re bonjour, J'avais juste oublié d'ajouter à mon précédent commentaire , votre PARFAITE maîtrise du pilotage .Cela semble si facile.....Mais je sais très bien qu'il n'en est rien . Seul une excellente formation , une bonne concentration et surtout beaucoup de sérieux, concourent à nous donner les belles images que nous avons pu voir . Merci à vous ! Cordialement W/M

@@AlbertoBrugnoni - No, I would not call myself a pilot. I am not certified and I am no intending to become so either. However, there has been a gyro at my parent’s farm ever since I was 16 (that is more than a decade ago) and so, I do know how to play with that machine, I know what acrobatics is and I also know my limitations. Lol

From the FARs: "Aerobatic flight is an intentional maneuver involving an abrupt change in an aircraft's attitude, an abnormal attitude, or abnormal acceleration, not necessary for normal flight." The bank angles demonstrated in this video are definitely "abnormal attitudes" for gyroplanes and are "not necessary for normal flight."

For a gyroplane is not a extreme aerobatic fly, but.... Try to do this whit a plane 😊

una duda que tengo en el caso de vuelo acrobatico, el rotor se acelera , correcto? que maximo de revoluciones soporta el rotor? tiene freno ? puede frenarse en caso necesario? si alguien lo sabe, le agradeceria mucho si me puede informar, saludos!

Il rotore, essendo mosso dall'aria e non dal motore come dall'elicottero, aumenta di giri ogni volta che tiri la barra di comando verso di te e rallenta appena la velocità cinetica impressa si "riassorbe" per attrito con l'aria e non più sollecitato. Il rotore ha un freno, ma è VOLUTAMENTE molto debole e serve solo a rallentare il rotore un po' più velocemente una volta atterrati. Spesso capitava, prima che trovassero il geniale sistema di far accendere il pannello LCD dei giri del rotore SOLO se togli il freno, di partire con il freno tirato... Non succedeva nulla in termini di sicurezza, però bruciavi il freno dell'arresto del rotore e dopo dovevi aspettare una vita prima che si fermasse. :)

No, tutte le manovre a “G” negativo sono SEVERAMENTE vietate. In quel caso il rotore SI FERMA e tu vieni giù come un ferro da stiro! Questo mezzo non è fatto per fare grandi acrobazie e tutte quelle che può fare sono a “G” (gravità positiva) positivo. Questa è l’unica cosa negativa di questo mezzo, per il resto è molto più sicuro di un 3 assi (aereo). Il rotore non può stallare, per atterrare ti bastano (controvento) pochi metri per fermarti una volta toccato terra… e tante altre cose incredibili che puoi fare con questo mezzo.

Nunca he visto por aqui, ninguno volando, lo cual me extraña, es una aeronave agil,practica, pero sobre todo segura, como bien dice usted. un gran saludo amigo!

had to turn it off, account the lousy music. why does every person with a camera feel like they're making some type of musical masterpiece? the gyro sounds should have stood on their own. the craptastic music made this submission a fail.
