I got mine in yesterday. Boy do these things work great. I needed them to make a repair on a bi-plane. I had to make new slots next to where ca hinges were already glued in one of my alerions . Everything came out great. If your thinking about getting some, stop thinking and order some. There well worth it. All three blades for around 18 bucks.

What is the brand of handles are being used in the video?

They look like they work great when you're pushing into a hollow cavity. How do they work on solid balsa surfaces?

I echo this question. Would need to see the blades work well in solid balsa as well before considering purchase.

Just found this while searching out CA hinge installation. I've just been unhappy lately with the GP Hinge Slotter. I find the blades are too fast and I have no control of the slot. This looks great. I have some new builds over the winter and I don't want to mess up the hinges. Haven't tried pin hinges in ages. I might on the next build with this tool.

Which handles fit the medium and thick blades? My Excel N5 and N6 handles do not fit them.

That is way too big a gap in your aileron hinges. I always recess the hinge line into either the wing or the aileron or both.

No t-pins to keep your hinges centered when combining parts... You live on the edge, I see ;)

The sound of the blade cutting the wood is very unnerving for me.
